Soccer 2x a week + Lifting seems fine to me. My cardio is walking now since I moved offices.

Your main recommendation has been to bush soccer and just lift. I lift, but I gotta play ball breh.

But if you ain’t got any plans all good, lemme see what Body Building hittin for. The Lyle McDonald plan was actually a really good one, hence me running it back.

I got plenty of plans, you just wouldn't have the chakra to run them properly if you're still tryna play soccer like that. :manny:

Lyle's GBR is something I recommend to noobs sometimes; it's bush league compared to the programs I have my big dogs run. :wow:

Natty brehs really tryna run 240+ working sets a week while playing soccer multiple times and walking/biking to work all while on a cut. :mjlol:

First actual deload in almost ten years. Prolly wouldn’t of been in this situation if I deloaded after 7 years

I'm a retired footy player too G. Wait til you get older and that kicking leg done put your whole hip alignment out of wack.....leave you trying to figure out why you have one quad burning and one hamstring burning when you doing squats...........:mjcry:

That type of volume (or higher) is fine as long as you dial back other shyt: I don't walk or bike to work, I don't park far away, I do very little cardio (and always after lifting), I don't hoop or play soccer, have grass to cut, work a very physically demanding job, starve myself, train MMA, have energy-taxing hobbies, none of that.


When you can pour almost all of your chakra into lifting and do it consistently, it's easy to get big and/or stronk naturally. :wow:


That's it: that's the not-so-secret secret.

As the patron saint of the injured reserve, I can say this is spot on. Even if I was consuming 300 g of protein and sleeping 10 hours, my body wouldn’t of ever been able to survive such a workload.

I feel like a war torn caterpillar that is reflecting on the previous era from my makeshift coc00n

Speaking of working out

Todays leg day was a solid 3/10

Was there an hour and a half and struggled throughout

Ain’t even do any compound lifts
Quads so fatigued I couldn’t even do a set of 10 slow reps on leg extensions with baby weight
