Pins came out on Monday. First day of PT was today (I’ve seen doing “leg” days 2x a week this past month - hack squat, reverse hypers, extensions leg curls leg press ect.)
cardio stepped up nice and lost weight.
Doc: “bone healing nice your in a great spot”
me: “so how long till I can grip a barbell”
doc: hmmm bout six weeks
me: …….
Hit an first upper day afterwards using the bottom of my palm (hammer strength press, dip machine pull down ect)
Think ima chill cause after I got my medical bill leaving the gym
Felt good to feel the power of hate running through my veins today though
Felt the hate and now in the rack for low bar + front squats
Edit: my hamstrings are ON FIYA
edit 2: feel like I’m bout to I’m out
wtf does he expect me to do with my life between 5-7pm?
How else am I supposed to loosen up?What have we learned?
Don’t stretch
I kind of joking and kind of not. Kind of depends on what you are doing. How else am I supposed to loosen up?
Feels like all the tendons around my ankles are too loose now. Gotta get checked out by a doctor next week.
It’s not the first time I’ve heard it. Some older brehs I know say they don’t either stretch, but they can’t even touch their toes.I kind of joking and kind of not. Kind of depends on what you are doing.
Me, Myself, Personally…….I just progressively warm up with patterns that mimic whatever I’m doing that session
I also go to a gym where there is an contingent of people who spend more time on stretching and mobility than actual training and I don’t understand it.It’s not the first time I’ve heard it. Some older brehs I know say they don’t either stretch, but they can’t even touch their toes.
Once I’m healthy I’ll try your method.
Different priorities I guess. Stretching takes up 3-4 minutes of my training, but I do movements that may exaggerate my tendons and this is why I’m having issues now I believe.I also go to a gym where there is an contingent of people who spend more time on stretching and mobility than actual training and I don’t understand it.
3-4 minutes is minor. I would say I see individuals that spend a third of their gym time stretching and foam rolling. It’s wildDifferent priorities I guess.
