But no, seriously, leg day doesn't necessarily burn any more calories than any other 'day'.

Theoretically using bigger muscle groups would in fact burn more calories than, say an arm day, but how many cats do you see actually go hard on leg day, assuming they don't skip it entirely?

I think the truth is it depends on intensity, density/duration, and exercise selection more than anything.

My .02 but be to go hard every day and focus on heavy lifting and interval cardio sessions.

I never been sloppy fat..my stomach and chest needs to go though. My legs are muscular as fukk tho cause I used to run stadium steps all the time when I was younger, and in college I didn’t know shyt about lifting so I did legs almost every other day cause it was always easy for me.

I got out of the Marines in 2015, so I’ve always been somewhat active & in decent shape. Working out isn’t my issue I just have a piss poor diet. I gotta get that straight as well

Interval sessions involve varying the intensity of the cardio activity over time. Think sprinting.

Interval training or HIIT creates greater excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), which leads to greater fat loss over time versus steady-state, lower intensity cardio exercise.

I think I’m going to do leg day at the gym after work. I used to go to the gym 4 days a week, but this past month, I’ve been going once or not at all, plus I noticed I’ve gained a few after thanksgiving :snoop:


I want to lose like 50 pounds and they say leg day burns the most calories in the gym but idk how true that is. I’m doing an 8 mile trail with my girl Saturday I know that shyt will suck if I go hard in the gym tonight

You gonna need some real cardio bruh:pachaha:

Walking/jump rope/maybe some jogging with sprinting mixed in(if your up to it)

And you mentioned the diet which is key...

If you get on the cardio wave now, you might be able to get close to your goal by summer 2k21...

I lost like 60 pounds in 7 months by running with a sauna suit every night a while back so I could join the Marines. Idk if I have that in me now :francis:
