Do they have any benefit a regular squat wouldn't give you?
You're wasting your timeHelp build better balance and leg stability IMO; you'll find out really quick if you have any significant strength imbalances that are hidden if you just do bilateral leg exercises. You can play with the angles easier if you want to focus on quad vs glute/hams. IMO splits squats work better as an assistance exercise or part of a superset.

I think I’m going to do leg day at the gym after work. I used to go to the gym 4 days a week, but this past month, I’ve been going once or not at all, plus I noticed I’ve gained a few after thanksgiving
I want to lose like 50 pounds and they say leg day burns the most calories in the gym but idk how true that is. I’m doing an 8 mile trail with my girl Saturday I know that shyt will suck if I go hard in the gym tonight
