Word, this 5-3-1 shyt I switched over too feels like I'm shortchanging myself. I'm already counting down the days until I can do a month of GVT again.

You can set 531 up so you do 5x10r with 70% of your training max after the main work sets if you wanted to. I haven't read up on GVT in a while, but I think those are sets of 10.

531 is a program u gotta do long term to really get a lot out of it. I only mention this because I have the worst training a.d.d. in the world and used to switch programs every other day :snoop:

Gonna stick with 531 for a minute barring injuries.

Dope. I was planning on doing this for 3 months and then doing a month of GVT again. We'll see how the progress goes.

Chest/tricep/shoulder day for GVT #shook

Going to TRY 235lbs decline bench 10x10......pray for me

70lbers for shoulders 10x10

Dips (Not weighted), tricep cable pulldowns, seated overhead tricep extension most of these will be 3-6 x 8. I try to go to failure for triceps since they get a full week off, bytch ass muscles.

stomach been upset for a minute but my workout went fine thank god. :whew:

5x3 190 power clean and 6 reps of 315 squats went cool for the most part. Now to get ready for mon and do my 5 reps of 430 deadlift.

i think it was @Malta who brought up body dysmorphia in the past. man this shyt is real as fukk. i was lookin at some pictures of myself bout 6 months ago when i was bout 175 because a friend of mine said i looked so much thinner and tight.

meanwhile i didnt think so at all, until those pictures :russ:

I did 10x10 @ 235lbs, the last 4 sets were a real struggle but was able to get 6 8 7 9 out, I wasn't able to do shoulders today though I'm going to go to the gym on Sunday and give them their own GVT day. The gym closed at 9:30 today for some reason, usually it's 10, and I didn't get there until 8:30 so I did chest & triceps.
