Thought I’d be good to play soccer today but my hamstring is still tweaking :beli:

At least I can ride my bike around :ld:

I need to cop some new workout gear as well.

Is knee pain normal when you just starting to run? I ran 3x this week
I would say pain definitely will come when you start running all over your body

But you gotta be careful with knee pain especially you don’t wanna worsen it so I’d make sure your stretching and resting and take a good 2 days off in between runs

If you experience pain even as a beginner something is wrong with your form or you have bad running sneakers.

When I started I was sore but not in pain. Do stretch after running and not before. Dynamic warm-ups are best.

I be 42 next month, Old Iron Warrior have to warm up my rotator cuff and stretch for 10 minutes before I do chest, arms and delt workout:mjcry:

And stretch for 10 minutes before I Squat before I do my warm-up reps, the days of going to the gym and hitting warm up reps then start hitting is over:ohlawd:

Same. I don't even touch a weight anymore without at least 20-30 minutes of foam rolling, stretching, and light accessory work to get the muscles warm.

I've started treating back days like extra leg days too, in terms of warming up. Try doing deadlifts, rack pulls or rows if your hamstrings are too tight. :usure:

I was actually doing pretty good for the first 11 miles. The problem is, I didn't realize I still had over 2 miles to go and I started to run hard until I got burned out. At least I finished running instead of walking, though.
