Does anyone here drink protein shakes while trying to lose weight? Maybe as a breakfast meal replacement?

I'm thinking of doing breakfast smoothies while tossing in some whey protein but that bloating man. :patrice:

I'm Nigerian and I don't think my body is adapted for some of these processed Western foods. I'm trying to keep things as natural as possible.

Nah, stopped all that tbh - I can make my macros via food

Not every exercise, pairs or triples. Or you're gonna be in there a lot longer than an hour :sadcam:

But yea you can't go wrong hitting every major body group each workout, even just for 1 set.

I'm not trying to get skinny, just shredded. Why? Why did we put a man on the moon :mjgrin: I just have a little film of fat and water I wanna get off... 10lb should do it, then I will go back to normal for the winter.

Didn’t want to do any exercise today but I still went to the gym. Banged out 15 mins on the incline and a 30 min HIIT spin class.

Let’s see if I wake up tomorrow to work my upper. Might just have to deal with the peak crowds after work :snoop:
didn't wake up this morning, so now this means i'm stuck with trying to lift at 5/5:30....i'm not gonna be able to find a matching set of weights at the gym for shyt :beli:

i find it really cray i used to be a post-work workout person, not sure how i navigated the shyt show that is the weight area at 24 hr fitness. i need to look for a new gig just to make that move to equinox :russ:

Yea I figured that really my only choice and hoping the joint supplements work.Never expecting to be fighting gym injuries this early:mjcry:
breh i used to think id be running 3-4 miles AND doing moderate to heavy lifting AND go box all in one gym session forever...but accumulated gym injuries got me by the time i turned 30 and its been different ever since

Probabaly one of the most annoying/frustrating games of soccer I played today.

My knee and lower back were buggin the entire time. I barely broke a sweat and my movement was limited. Barely got any time on the ball. Out of 50 mins I probably played 22 mins.

Cold shower and straight to sleep for me. I've not been this pissed in a long time.

It's the halfway point in the year.

How's our fitness progress coming along?

If you were to give yourself a mid-year grade what would it be?
Much bigger than when it started. Still making gains but I’m gonna start increasing cardio work and doing more calisthenics. Will decrease weight training down to 2 days a week.

Went from 145 last year to 186 at biggest this year. Down to 175 now. I’m happy with my progress.

7 more weeks till my trip to the UK and my knee decides it gonna apply pressure :francis:

Gonna have to be air tight with my diet because I don't think I'll be able to play as much soccer as I would have liked :francis:

There goes my favorite form of cardio :francis:

If only I didn't plateau after getting back from South African and Kenya :snoop:

If you want non carbonated ones, they make sweet tea/arnold palmer flavors.

We have most flavors at work in our mini store in the office and they are one of our competitors in the supp industry.

I usually drink Celsius Peach Mango or Orange on the daily, less liquid, less caff.

I'm at 220 but feel skinny than a MF...doesn't help that 60% of my mass is lower body.:francis:
That's what I be telling everyone, if you think I'm big up top just understand that most of muscles are in my lower half.....

I also finally realized that my arms are pretty huge :dwillhuh:
