This girl I used to work with was just in here but went downstairs. Would've said hi and asked her why she left the job like a few weeks ago but I didn't care enough to go out of my way nor were we really that close at work. I tried to holler back in like late March but nothing came about of it. She was busy when I asked her out a few weekends. Said fukk it and slid her my number but she never reached out. Oh well. Better for me. With the #metoo movement in effect, who knows what could've happened or the distractions it could've brought. :francis:

The girl at the front desk I saw last weekend wasn't here when I came in. Hopefully she just hadn't started working yet and is coming in when I leave.

I've been lifting long enough to where I don't really watch fitness videos unless I'm looking for a new exercise to mix it up.

But I came across Athlean X (5 mil followers) and this channel is the truth.

Even the most experienced lifters can learn some things from dude. Breaks down things to a science.

:dwillhuh:

I used think the concept of some people having good genetics was bs due to my science background, but holy shyt, life isn't fair. I stay making all type of aesthetics gains without even trying.

*eats like crap*
*wakes up with a shredded 6 pack*

I say this because there's whole industry, movement, videos and products being pushed to look the way, minimally put effort into doing :wow:

Crazy thing is I've only worked out twice in the past 3 weeks :dwillhuh:

Thought about freezing my membership to pay 5/10 dollars for a couple months and buying a set of adjustable dumbbells & a flat bench for home workouts. They're not too expensive.

I been jumping rope and I still be at the park doing pull ups and dips on some jail shyt. My main focus is to save time cause I'm bout to work like 60 hour weeks

What say y'all? Any experiences?

I did this a few months back and it's been working for me. I bought the ironmaster dumbbells that go to 120# and I have the Bowflex dumbblls that go to 52#. I also have an Olympic bar and bought the Marcy strength cage off of Amazon. I can work any muscle with this setup. It's also convenient since it's at home and I even play the Xbox between sets. Cardio is done with my heavy bag and running at the park. Check Craigslist and OfferUp for deals on weights.

typically an impingement is caused by an anatomical bone formation where the clavicle hangs over the ball of the humerus and causes rubbing/pinching/irritation of the tendons going into the rotator cuff as the ball of the humerus rotates with various shoulder movements. are you self diagnosing it as an impingement or have you had an mri? the reason i ask if because typically impingements don't really heal per se, they need to be surgically repaired if you want to continue to do repetitive overhead movements. most of the therapy they talk about for impingements really means refraining from a lot of the movements us gym rats love doing and incorporate into our workouts. yes, some posture reform can help a bit, but in general if that rubbing is there it doesn't just go away. impingements were pretty much the culprits in both of my shoulder injuries that caused the damage that led to both surgeries. the first and foremost thing they did in both of my shoulder procedures is called a subacromial decompression, which pretty much means they shave down the end of the clavicle to open up the shoulder joint and create the room the joint and tendons need to relieve the rubbing and irritation. again, i'm not a doctor so take this all with a grain of salt, but that is what i learned from both of my surgeries.
