I tried to grab his metcons they released on Friday. shyts sold out in like 20 mins. :francis:

But yeah it’s hard to watch him perform and not feel motivated. He’s a fukking animal. Can’t wait for the games in August.

@The ADD beltless deads and ohps lol...not even trying to be dramatic but I’m honestly surprised at how strong I am and how relying on that belt by default was stifling me.
I never understood belts on deads. Seems like the belt would dig into your ribs and hips. Now squats? :whoa:

:salute:

You seem to be dedicated to the gym lifestyle for quite a while now, If you been smoking/drinking as well until now (i assume) can you say how much it had an influence on your gains/workouts & progress ?

It fukked my workouts up, The drinking. Because Sometimes I drink on Friday's and Saturday Night's, and Usually workout on Saturdays and Sundays and when I drink, I fukkin Drink. I be at Brewery, Bar's, Pizza Parlors 10 pitchers with the homies ain't shyt, A fifth of Henny to the head ain't shyt, 12 pack of Heinkeins to the head ain't shyt but I pay after, I get Crazy hangovers that last 2 days.

So I lose my workout out days, I lose gainz, laying in bed not eating throwing up, I lose gainz, so yeah I can say Lost of Gainz for drinking

I can safely say that alcohol is the reason I don’t have clearly visible abs. I probably have 3-5 drinks / night about 3-4 nights / week. Probably anywhere from 1500 - 2500 unnessecary extra calories in a week. It doesn’t stop me from working out or keeping the rest of my diet in pretty good check. But even if I’m exacting the rest of my diet perfectly on a good cut I’m still averaging 200-350 excess calories / day over whatever I’m targeting in just booze. I’ve taken a few months off at a time and the results speak for themselves. Unfort like @Waterproof said I don’t have different gears when drinking. There is no downshifting. It’s just stop and go. But it’s so good once it hits your lips.

Yeah its definetely lots of useless calories in alcohol no doubt.
As for myself, I mentioned this in a sparate thread already but I quit alcohol a lil more than 3 years ago completely.
When I just got into the gym in fall 2014 however I was still a heavy drinker & used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and eat mostly crap, and I still made gains but of course wouldve been much better if I wouldve taken the first half a year really serious tho :yeshrug:
I gotta say that I got very good genetics tho, Im a tall dude and was always built pretty muscular and had pretty impressive strength. Of course I also had a damn good gut too & my cardio was :mjlol:
