This is a big reason a lot of women never reach their fitness goals. You absolutely should be lifting much heavier. You're having trouble burning fat because you're not carrying enough muscle. Increasing your muscle mass will increase your baseline calorie requirements which will ultimately lead to weight loss if you eat a balanced diet. In addition, you'll strengthen your skeleton and help stave off the osteoporosis that plagues the female gender. Heavier deadlifts will increase your bone density over time.

You're not a man, and you don't have the testosterone or genetics to become even remotely brolic. Most men don't even have that.
I’m not afraid of being brolic. My main focus is losing fat, but i see building muscle and losing fat goes hand in hand. I’ll start upping my weights next week.

Yeah. I've been lifting for decades. I hope I don't have to get hip replacement. Once you get that, no more heavy squats. :old:
You can't have big quads and hams without doing barbell squats. :boss:

Breh, ive been in pain for so long, i dont even care if i do squats or deads anymore. Those V-squat machines are on the table, but i dont plan on doing no iron man competition or wateva, so i dont even see the point.

No, I never saw the need to drop the $ on them. I squat and dead in socks and I usually get a few pairs of Nikes a year from my job that I turn into gym shoes.

Yes the equipment I use is generally free and I go early enough....The accessory work I take really short breaks on...And notice until day 3 the volume isn’t high but remember the weight is also lower...The longest day is actually the lower rep day 3x3.

I guess this is also a way to look at it my endurance has increased a great deal...But it’s moreso the majority of people in my gym at the time I go are only doing steady state cardio or bicep curls...The only times I usually have to wait is when the powerlifting team comes in.

And also keep in mind I use anabolics and only lift 3 times a week.

Yeah, I've had ACL reconstruction too. I never plan on going downhill skiing.
I used to do that. ACL rehab took months. No way I'm going to wipe that all away with one fall where the ski torque your knee like a torque wrench.
