I am convinced most people like to feel like they are doing something than actually doing something. Plus there is the whole notion that "well if Im paying more for something i dont know about it has to be better"I really don't get the cycling studio craze, any box gym has cycling classes, yes instructors can be variable, but with trial and error you'll find an instructor you like. if you wanted to spin twice a week as your cardio you're dropping $60 bucks at these spots? plus you may still encounter an instructor you don't like or wack music.
I'm not dropping $200+ a month on fukking cardio , and only one type of cardio at that. at that rate I'm either at a comprehensive upscale gym (i.e. Equinox), or doing some sort of (group) personal training or bootcamp/crossfire that's really going to push me/improve my physique.
I'm actually kinda puzzled over the whole specialized fitness craze in general - Pilates and yoga made sense, but now one place for spinning, one dedicated to rowing, another dedicated to trx, barre, wtf? *opens a power walking studio*
Classpass really is the best compromise - get a genetic box gym membership for $10-50/month and throw in a 5 or 10 class classpass.
is it a "beginner" thing? mind sharing it with me? i can PM you my email addy. i have a friend who keeps talking about wanting to lose weight but does NOTHING, maybe if she gets a simple all in one outline she'll try.I am convinced most people like to feel like they are doing something than actually doing something. Side note, I just wrote up a training/diet guide for one of wifey's friends and she seems very excited and pleased with it. Hopefully she makes some good progress with it. I'm going to ask her to take some before pictures... her and wifey are going to be "Client Zero". I think I could be a good online coach
Buy Classes$200 a month!?

I was just thinking about making a thread on body weight to waist ratioPls don’t make this mistake. Unless you are running a stack that ain’t gonna be muscle fam.
I was down to 196lbs this summer. Ima enjoy this bulk. . I can hit 230lbs easily probably. Im 6’4 so even with extra fat it doesnt look bad. I do alot of cardio tho to even out the cheat meals I have.I went through this so yall wouldn't have to. @Rice'N Beckford you're gonna be a fat sloppy fukk right when summer comes around, don't do it.
