I didn't go to planet fitness I worked with a trainer that claims he trains NBA athletes so my situation was differentShould have clarified myself better
if your going to a planet fitness type gym in a major city, you not gonna get your money worth because the equipment you need is gone by the time you get there...
Those barbell racks get ran to
If it's a private gym, then it might be a decent idea for one..
I didn't go to planet fitness I worked with a trainer that also trains NBA athletes so my situation was different
Had my ex going wild when we linked back up and she saw the transformationwhen he's been working out too, that first time you recognize those results
If your trying to get in shape on some regular shyt..no imo
This dude who wanted to "train"me didn't understand that I wanted to work legs and I only had access to barbells only on my days off..
One day he was late and asked me what I was doing and I said deadlifts...i could feel thethru texts...
He thought I was gonna do cardio until he got there after I been there over 45 minutes
He taught me some shyt, but I like to do my own thing...its not like boxing or something...its exercise that you can develop your own routine that works for you..
This is coming from someone who used to go to the gym once every 3 months and stayed 15 minutes

What did u do?
What did he reach You?
so he had a certain way he wanted you to train but u wanted to train s different way
Basically he taught me about form for certain exercises. ..
The issue I had was i only get barbell access when I have a day off work...
When I get out of work in the evening, there is no chance of me getting a barbell rack..
All the workouts were upper body..i asked about squats and I didn't get an answer
If you going to a public gym, you gotta structure your training around the times you can get a barbell rack..
Dumbells are cool, but you gonna wanna try compound exercises off gp..
It's a natural progression...
Form is gonna be a the big issue, but you start off small and learn by trial and error and by watching CERTAIN YouTube vids
I remember when I 1st tried squats and the plates fell off the barbell because I had no idea of what I was doing..
