Nothing like manufacturing a competition between you and the guy next to you when he loads up the same weight for squats

My shyt gym only has on squat cage and DL area. That shyt is fun when you have multiple cages...:francis:

The adrenaline I get is from setting my squat safety bars low or having my girl spot me....the ego crush from having her save me is enough to push through.

Ya'll I finally tried 405 for low bar squats it felt good...doing this heavy with high bar and my proportions would hurt my knees and shyt. :blessed:

yo due to work I haven't been able to work out for 5 days straight (well gym workouts If you count being in the field as working out than I guess I did) but dammit if It doesn't look like I put on more size and seem a bit more vascular....I think it may be something to that overtraining a body part and than recovery. Since I am duding Push,Pull, Legs I was just coming off of 6 days straights and went right into the 5 days off.

So I'm starting to think 3 things.

1.I should change the rotation to Pull/Legs/Push rest and Pull/Legs/Push rest

2.Increasing the volume that I do each day since I will have more rest programmed in.

3.If you aren't taking Beta Alanine and an organic multi-vitamin you are pouring jelly on yourself

It helped because I saw his squat depth and knew I needed to get lower.

Monday morning - 199.9 lbs

Nothing but Meat/Pork/Chicken and spinach with water, occasional honey mustard dressing.

@The ADD (or any vegetarians) were you still vegetarian when you started working out? I'm trying to drop my last 15 but also wanna do more meatless meals but damn beans, quinoa or wild rice are so many fukking calories to hit a decent amount of protein and I don't do soy...maybe I should just put off the whole "less" meat thing until I'm done dieting :jbhmm:

I was and that’s really what pushed me to eating meat :dame: again. It was just too much to manage getting adequate protein with where I was headed lifting and with my schedule. Also I needed to build muscle because I was a skeleton relatively.

That said I think the amount of protein you “need” is over estimated in some ways by the supplement industry. I think as long as you get three to four meals with quality protein in 20grams plus you can maintain well enough for what you are looking to do.

I might pull back on the workouts that are hiring a lot of glycogen and lift a little heavier FWIW.

Breh I about gave up life in the squat, felt like a migraine
I was thinking I could just jump up off the couch and get it in after only chilling & only eating cheese fries today

Gotta stick to the routine my body used to now. Them Pushups and Pullups be killer, especially after not having done them in a while

If your trying to get in shape on some regular shyt..no imo

This dude who wanted to "train"me didn't understand that I wanted to work legs and I only had access to barbells only on my days off..

One day he was late and asked me what I was doing and I said deadlifts...i could feel the:martin:thru texts...

He thought I was gonna do cardio until he got there after I been there over 45 minutes:dead:

He taught me some shyt, but I like to do my own thing...its not like boxing or something...its exercise that you can develop your own routine that works for you..

This is coming from someone who used to go to the gym once every 3 months and stayed 15 minutes

I dunno breh I had a trainner who helped me lose 100 pounds and put on muscle... it depends on what you want to get out of it :patrice:
