Why does my lower back feel warm. No strains or pain, just a tiny warm sensation. I did do DLs yesterday but I felt not strains and my form was solid. Woke up this morning alert and invigorated.

But now this warmness is odd. I'll give it a night's rest and see what's up afterwards.

Man with your lower back, take a couple weeks, maybe even a month off from squats / deadlifts . Don't play with that shyt. I know in the past my back has gotten tight or in a knot from heavy lifting and that's what I did. I've never had any chronic injuries, but the best advice I can give is to listen to your body. Do some extra static stretching in the meantime.

Oh yeah and I think @ocmfII went through some intense back pain....

Well, I was just looking at doing some limited warm up set work, not my normal/progressive volume, I've gotten some lower back tightness/knotting bad once in the past (mostly due to the he-man mentality:sadcam:) but I've never experienced anything like this. :damn:

Been doing some yoga oriented back stretches and it def still is tender in the lower back:damn:so I'm going to hold off the barbell work for a while;
I'm pretty much stuck doing bench now:shaq2::damn:

Meal prepping has been one of my biggest tools as far as keeping my nutrition in check. I switch my meals every week and will "half" cook some dishes on Sunday then finish them off Wednesday so they're fresh.

Heck, cooking as a whole has been a game changer. Been saving a lot of recent.

So far so good. Love that they don't contain caffeine. Gives me the same energy pre workout that critean does.

Aww man I cook a lot of different things. I've always liked cooking since childhood. Like I used to make different dishes since I was like 8 yrs old so I know my way around the kitchen.

In the past couple months for Lunches and Dinner I've made:

-Thai Chicken Curry with roasted veggies and brown rice
-Roasted sweet potatoes with braised pork
-Turkey Chilli with beans and lentils
-Chicken stir fry with mixed squash and veggies
-Jerk style chicken stir fry with mixed veggies
-Seasme kale & spinach salad with sliced duck breast
-Braised shrimp with vegetable skillet
-Baked Salmon with asparagus
-Roasted Tilapia with peppers
-Seasme beef with brown rice and roasted veggies

One of my guys is big into the grocery distribution business within the DC area so I can get a lot of meats and veggies at whole sale prices.

I usually try and cook an "exotic" meal on the weekends so I don't feel the need to eat out. So I'll make Pad Thai at home instead of ordering out.

It just takes some planning and knowledge about cooking honestly. Just a few ingredients packaged in different ways.

Had a real :gucci: moment

I'm heating up my lunch (I have it around 10:30) and this woman is like "oh youre having an early lunch". I forgot how we got into it but I think she asked me how many meals I have a day.... I said like 2-4, to which she says "ah thats why youre always hungry. Nutritionists say you're supposed to have 6 meals a day". I said something and she repeated herself.

Mind you.... I'm me. She is maybe 5' 4" and easily has a good 50-80lb on me. :comeon: Maybe you should cut back to 3 meals a day instead of me jumping to 6 :francis:
