I was like fukk the hell am I going to do with this... I do IF and use take my EC with coke zero. I put some coke zero in the the bottle and drink it all.

Like that shyt instantly hit the dome had me walking around like I was ons some limitless pills. Only had 4 hours of sleep but went to the gym with a clear mind, completely focussed. I was able to hit chest hard and even added 3 new exercises.

Man with your lower back, take a couple weeks, maybe even a month off from squats / deadlifts . Don't play with that shyt. I know in the past my back has gotten tight or in a knot from heavy lifting and that's what I did. I've never had any chronic injuries, but the best advice I can give is to listen to your body. Do some extra static stretching in the meantime.

Oh yeah and I think @ocmfII went through some intense back pain....

Good thing I lost weight and am in shape. Cuz after walking from 6 to 8 miles every day for the past three days around theme parks, plus nearly 7 today, your strength sure gets tested when you have to push a grown man that weighs more than you around in a wheelchair. I was cursing every damn ramp in the park. Whether pushing uphill or trying not to let him go downhill. Plus we got atleast two more days. Ima be sore as hell when I get back home. Plus I done busted my ass in the parking lot. That would've sucked if it was much worse. :francis:

My co-worker emailed me his workout routine...and he wonders why he hasn't gained shyt in over a year.:snoop:

Used to thing the gym where the incompetent novice wouldn't take heed from someone with a great physique/wisdom. Then I realized what country I live in and who's president and how he got there. :dame:

At this point the people who ask me will not like the honest answer I give and deflect with "genetics"...like time and effort don't exist. :jbhmm:

The past few months I've been lifting with no music...I'm most of the time taking notes of my lifts or my rest period is too short to bother with it. The skipping music tracks and playing with the phone is a major distraction for alot of people, but I understand that some people need it.:lupe:

I ruptured a disc (L4-L5) about 6 months after my first shoulder surgery. I had just gotten my groove back post recovery and was feeling myself a tad too much. Was doing like 315 x 5 on a ladder of warmup weight to a 1RM and just slightly let my core go on the descent of the 5th rep because I was being careless. That’s all it takes w the back though. Just one second of not keeping everything in check. I’ll never forget that “pop” though. Still to this day- worst pain I’ve ever felt.

I would suggest getting a professional opinion. And def laying off of heavy compounds until you’re certain you are/feel 100% better. Even after the doc cleared me w my back I still didn’t trust moving heavy weight for a looooong time. Even now over 3 years later I have moments where I’m moving heavy weight and praying not to hear that pop.

That core strempf is crazy important though. It really stabilizes your entire body thru those movement. I would suggest working on that while you recover. You will be better prepared when you return. Look up “dead bugs” and like exercises.
