I got lured into a deadlift battle today
5'11ish Bearded backwards baseball cap leggings with no shorts crossfit guy
I'm on a de-load week so I'm using light for me weights doing 10x3 with 365
Crossfit guy works up to and starts doing 405 for singles and you can tell he's one of those guys that needs the room to pay attention to him by how he's moving around and glaring at people.
I can feel dude going out of his way to get my attention/staring like
after he hits his singles as he violently launches the bar to the floor.
So. . I let ego get to me like
I turn on put your hood up by lil Jon on my phone and get to work.
Just start banging out triples. Hit 585x4 which is a rep PR for me cleaned up my weights. Then turned and looked at buddy like
It was an a$$hole thing to do but it needed doing because buddy was being too extra. And the rep PR was nice
