I got lured into a deadlift battle today :snoop:


5'11ish Bearded backwards baseball cap leggings with no shorts crossfit guy

I'm on a de-load week so I'm using light for me weights doing 10x3 with 365

Crossfit guy works up to and starts doing 405 for singles and you can tell he's one of those guys that needs the room to pay attention to him by how he's moving around and glaring at people.

I can feel dude going out of his way to get my attention/staring like :smugfavre: after he hits his singles as he violently launches the bar to the floor.


So. . I let ego get to me like :gucci:

I turn on put your hood up by lil Jon on my phone and get to work.

Just start banging out triples. Hit 585x4 which is a rep PR for me cleaned up my weights. Then turned and looked at buddy like

It was an a$$hole thing to do but it needed doing because buddy was being too extra. And the rep PR was nice

I'm new to this, so I guess I got got. The most I've used in the past was creatinine.

In that case carry on I’m not opposed to doing illegal/research chemicals but that’s after years of basically wasting money on GNC and Vitamin shop and Bodybuilding.com type of shyt.

I have to embrace my inner c00n...That dude Rich Piana racist fukk bag had some pretty solid supplements from his line. I swear by this sweet potatoe real food for my protein shakes post gym.

I have to embrace my inner c00n...That dude Rich Piana racist fukk bag had some pretty solid supplements from his line. I swear by this sweet potatoe real food for my protein shakes post gym.

Sometimes you gotta forgo the messenger for the message. I've never bought any of his stuff but I've heard a lot of folks say it was good

I feel drained after 585 for one rep...:wow:

I go to a small gym so whenever someone squats/benches/DLs heavy I'm getting a glance...I one of the few blacks that go there plus I be moving weight. :dame:


People be feeling giddy quarter repping squats or slamming weights down after a deadlift...:mjlol:

I'm one of the only black dudes at this lifetime so you definetely know what I go thru where there's just those segments of guys go out of their way to make sure YOU notice them



Not gonna lie.

After that 4 rep I sat in my car for a few mins and got my wits back before I drove away because that was all I had in my soul today :pachaha:



Won't be doing that again any time soon.

You do them in the rack!?

Yes I do my deadlifts/squats/barbell bench press/rows/shrugs in it...It’s a small gym so no place else to really do it...I wish they had a deadlift area or platform shyt I’m having enough trouble trying to get them to get a hexagon bar

Chest day was so so today. I tried doing dips before my bench because the bench rack was full. Never again.

Tried to bench after 4 sets of 8 bodyweight dips. My triceps were finished :beli:

Dip DB press instead. Went pretty well but my right side got more activation that might left due to it being my dominant hand. I really dislike uneven development :francis:

Note to self, finish with dips start with the heaviest lifts first.

I sliced my thumb tip almost completely off above the top of the nail Sunday night cooking dinner w my chopping knife. The pain is pretty bad but the borderline depression from missing workouts is def worse. This can’t be life :teardrop:

i work out in the morning so I put it in my ninja joint and blend it up...It also blended well the one time i used it in my blender cup also...I think I am going to keep using this and the cobbler one for my shakes....Smooth blend and taste like straight dessert.
