Beautiful thing to finally feel motivated again and stick with a routine. Past 18 months have been inconsistent at best. Life got in the way. :francis:


Officially throwing my accessory leg movements in the bushes for sprints and plyometrics. I hit the track for some 100s last Thursday. Friday worked upper body. My shoulder press jumped 15lbs for the same number of reps as the previous week. Felt so much more in control throughout my hips and core. It was staggering. Fast forward to today: had my alternate lower body session. Fronts squats with clean grip were substantially easier than last time I did them 2 weeks ago, increasing weight by 30lbs. :wtf:

Gonna alternate between Squat+RDL+sprint/plyo and DL+Front Squat+sprint/plyo for couple months and reassess. :ehh:


Anybody workout in weight lifting shoes saw this post made me wonder are the comfortable and multi purpose like you can run in them to these are the Nike Romelo 3s

I've had my adipower oly shoes for about 6 years. Well worth it, especially if you don't have the best ankle mobility. You want a snug fit. Read reviews as some shoes are suited for thin feet while others are best for wider.

Grits and oatmeal discussion has me thinking about this BCAAs obsession have. Most high quality protein powders have it included. Gym water faucet fountain smelling like pinnapple and watermelon from the preworkout shyt and BCAA placebo kool-aid. You nikkas consistently on the gym Viagra.:scust:

you do IF? if not, why no breakfast? i fukking love breakfast, i could go without dinner easy but breakfast and lunch...i'm counting down the minutes to both those meals :pachaha:
Yea I do IF. I am a morning person... I shower before bed so when I wake up I'm on the road in like 20-25 minutes. I could have breakfast at work but eh. But every now and then I might go out with wifey and the in laws to Dennys and go HAM :demonic:

So looks like I’m gonna have to wake up early for gym now due to work issues. Need to be in the gym by 6am and be out by 7:30 just to be in the office by 9am. So I’m gonna have to wake up by 5am and be in bed by 10pm. :sadcam: With winter coming as well this shyt is going to be :sadcam::mjcry:

I don't know if these really count but I use these as my weight lifting shoes...the colors are ugly but thats probally why the PX had them on sale for 69.

I like them they are comfortable for squats/deads and keep me balanced during weighted movements like lunges....To be honest having a comfortable pair of actual shoes for gym activities really means something. All of this time up until now i've been wearing stuff like Airmax/Shox/Airforces/Classics and stuff like that.....I am starting to think (may just be because I'm 35 now) that shoes need to have a purpose....I have shoes for running why not have shoes for in the gym.

New gym taketh away, new gym giveth... programming said I was supposed to do 330x5,6,6 on squats and 350x4,4,5 on sumos but the new colorful plates at the gym had me like fukk it. Threw 350 on for squats, hit 3,4,4. Then threw 365 on for deads and hit that same 3,4,4. Felt good and easy. Old plates might have weighed more than 45 a pop. Just gotta get my head back in the game on bench.

Really debating rather I should go with Push/Pull/Legs or go with a full body. I’m only trying to life 3 times a week concentrating on Cardio and calisthenics the other 2 days (3xWeight/ 2xcardio/calisthenics)

Realizing how little meat I eat on a day to day.

A lady in my office is going away Friday so they brought some Famous Dave's (BBQ food).

Had a few ribs and some chicken and now I'm fighting to get through the rest of the day. I feel mad slow and I can't think straight.

I've been doing pretty much chicken, eggs, beans, fish and turkey for my protein. Only time I'll do beef or pork is for a burger or when I eat out.

Feeling bloated is not the move.
