How the workouts going breh?
Got my wisdom tooth removed last Wednesday and my whole right side of my face was swollen.
Got healed up and went back to the gym on Friday and going back again tomorrow.
I think it was a needed break though because I was starting to get knee pain from my squats.
Couldn't really put stand up and put pressure on my left knee too much or else it started to get sore.
I spent that whole week looking up squat videos and tryint to correct my form.
Now I'm starting to realize the actual importance of activating the muscles while you do the work out. When I was doing my squats, I wasn't actively engaging my glutes.
I was using my knees to push up and wasn't squeezing my glutes. Part of that was because my stance was too damn narrow.
So I widened that shyt up and now I can actually feel my glutes squeeze on the way up. Can't wait to test it out with some real weights on Monday.
