This gas price surge almost got me ready to cut out my Extra Credit Saturday workout and trail run:flabbynsick: Going to look up the Yoga thread and Youtube videos to switch it up on Saturdays that I don't do cardio.

Cats really got me fukked up. Let me tell yall what just happened to me.

I'm on the bench taking a break from hitting my little 155. And a personal trainer come over to me, pretty big dude. He says "hey man can you help me get this off?" "I said sure" I get off my bench and take a step to his right next to me and saw 4 plates on each side. I said "Help you with that!?"

He said "Yeah."
I look over to the dude who's my height but twice my size holding a phone recording dude. I stepped on the little platform behind the bench and asked him "how many you trying to do?" He talking bout "all I need is help getting it off"
I said "OK

He does his little breaths counts to 3 and I lift with all my might...bar don't move an inch :yeayea:
I said " let me get the phone and have him get the bar "
He said "you can't lift it?" I said "hell naw!"
So we switch and the new spotter says" maybe you should take a break, didn't you push up" and the PT says :nah man I didn't push up on it"
I'm holding the phone like

I haven't deadlifted since I hurt my back over a year ago

I been feeling a bit stale in the gym recently so I gave it a shot today. Went pretty well, although 315 for 1 rep was waaaaayy harder than it should have been.

I played it safe and didn't push myself any further

Completely ignore CNS recovery, brehs.
I do high volume workouts but its spread out. Like one workout every 72hours.....and I have a 5-10 minute interval of complete rest(checking emails, browsing the coli).......

But hey it works for me. My physique is solid, and I've been going hard in the gym for almost 10 years with no injuries or precursors......

Used to despise doing arm workout and now I'm lowkey starting to love it...I've been seeing good results. My biceps are near equal strength now and it takes me longer to get arm fatigue on back exercises. My right tricep is still noticeable smaller and weaker though and I can feel the difference on my right side when I bench.:ohhh:
Best circuit to having massive arms is pull-up,dips and push-ups.....

So many people skip over the fundamental than wonder why they don't look like a Greek gawd...

On the one hand, I made a scumbag move by going to the gym this week while I had a cold.

On the other hand, surprisingly I had some of my best workout days in weeks.

Snatching deeeeeep into full squat position w 145 for multiple singles like fukking butter this weekend. I'm kicking over old PRs over like snoop w them buildings the NY NY video. It's crazy how I'm making newbie type gains again at my age.
