Which is why I prefer working out at the gym, than working out at home. Because the gym has dumbbells already pre-sized, while the dumbbells I have at home have to be adjusted to the weight you want. Too much work.I really hate having to load plates on the barbell. Walking around asking folk if they're using it, finding the clipper, doing the warm up then having to remove it again and add more plates, etc shyt is just
Even more tiring than the workout itself
No machinesHoly fukk, it's amazing how much of a difference 500kcal can make
NOW I feel like I'm cutting. And it's HORRIBLE
Thinking about getting one of these for the crib
I don't trust myself with that method. Plus I feel like power cleaning into position is more practical.
nikkas never listen to me.....I feel like such a fraud. I have well built physique that looks like I'm really strong yet I'm weak as fukk.
What's your heightMy goal was to bulk up to 170lbs and then cut. I managed to get to 168 3weeks ago, and I've been on a cut every since. Im trying to get rid of this lower back fat and the little bit of fat on my lower abs. I want my v-cut back. I'm currently around 156lbs. lost about 10lbs. I hope I don't lose the little bit of mass I gained in my bulk. I've been trying Intermittent fasting. Iono. My body loooks alright, but not good enough. My back would look SOOOO much better if I could just erase this little bit of lower back fat that I have left. My abs would loook amazing to as would my obliques if I could get rid of this lil layer of fat that I still have.My mid-section is hard and rocky, but that last little layer of fat is messing up the game.
You'll get back there in no time breh....So I was trying to bulk to 180 or even 190 and was at 175 but I got really sick back in April. I'm now down to 160 and still haven't kicked whatever was making me ill. I still get nauseous out of nowhere and I get cramps after about 30-45 minutes of lifting heavy. All the other symptoms stopped. Blood work was fine. X Rays were negative. Ultrasound showed nothing wrong. Just went to a new doctor and got blood work to test for gluten intolerance. I haven't been able to train as hard as I was before nor eat as much. Strength took a dip. I definitely lost some muscle mass especially in my shoulders. They're pretty flat now and I had some nice front delts.
I'm probably going to deload and just do some push ups and see if I feel better. I'm an ectomorph and putting on weight is tough so to lose 15 pounds after I worked so hard has me depressed
5'7What's your height
Ahhh OK. A bulk to 177-185 should be more ideal. But I would focus on being cut for the summer than bulk in the winter. You want to show off abs and definition, while wearing less(tanks, shorts, etc..)
Machines are good enough for IFBB pros The muscles don't care. Just thinking when we have this kid and we're sleep deprived.... not gonna have the focus for BB squats. But I don't wanna let my gains gooooooooooooNo machines
Barbells or die.
It was hard enough for me to get to 168lbs. I kept weiging myself on the weighing machines that they have at Rite-Aid(there was one next to my job) and I saw my weight at 168lbs, with a BMI of 25.19 or something along those lines. I noticed I was looking bulkier/more muscular up top(shoulders, upper-back, chest,) but that lower back fat and lower ab fat that I gained was bothering me. I hated looking at that lower part in the mirror. I figured, since it took me a year to bulk up to 168lbs, and that my BMI and weight were high enough/large enough at my small stature, I figured it was time to begin my cut. And after 2 weeks I remembered how fast my metabolism is, and how easy it is for me to lose weight, and I ended up losing too much too soon. I was looking small as hell these last two weeks. Maybe I should've bulked up to 175-180....Ahhh OK. A bulk to 177-185 should be good.
I found it very comfortable and once you get to the heavier weights the cleaning takes a lot out of you so you can't put 100% into the pressing.I don't trust myself with that method. Plus I feel like power cleaning into position is more practical.
