Just one of the chain gyms.
There are no real serious gyms in the NY area unless you go to Queens/Brooklyn or way, way upstate.

90% of the gyms in tri-state area are either Planet Fitness/NYSC, etc... or Crossfit :scust:
Honestly sometimes you just got step in a and apply some pressure.

There is a guy at my gym that does these wide ranging circuits that might have 3-4 stations. Last week he was supersetting deads with the rowing machine, basically had the DL platform of and on for no real reason. I nicely asked if I could add another bar and work in. He was cool with it.

I think it's awkward though to ask to grab a pair of dumbbells from a guy. I mean, screw it, I guess I'll do it if need to.
"Mind if I hop in and do these cable tricep extensions" is a heck of a lot more reasonable and normal than "Say breh...do you really need the 30s, 35s, 40s, and 45s, right now? Cuz I kinda need those 40s...."

I guess I could add some more sets on deadlifts then for those days:ohhh::dame:


Grip position is hella underrated for bench press/barbell rows, finally found my sweet spot on bench and was like :mjgrin:



Just found out my gym now has a outdoor place for lifting :gucci::mjgrin:

Feel like I'm hitting my groove as far as losing weight is concerned when it comes to eating. Not overdoing it on calories and the minimal junk I eat isn't doing much or any damage. That plus I'm not as hungry thru the day so I don't eat too much. I had purchased a sub from jersey Mike's on Wednesday, thanks to the breh that posted the buy one get one free coupon, got the free one for my niece. Ate half the sub that night and took the other half home and took it to work tonight. The sub was cut in four and I only ate half of it today and saved the remaining half for tomorrow. Had to limit myself with how much I eat. Even the reeses candy I be snacking on hasn't done any damage. I don't count calories but I sure am minimizing or burning them off quicker. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm under 178 by the end of next week. Bout to eat a piece of shepherds pie then do some ironing with pushups integrated in to burn some more. First we get em in, then we get em out. :camby:

i think my stomach is actually shrinking. I cut down my meals by a large amount both by number and size. I tried to go ham on some chicken tenders, fries and tots yesterday night after a super long upperbody workout, couldn't even finish it :ld: if i keep this up i might be able to do this cutting thing you guys are always clamoring about :ehh:

i think my stomach is actually shrinking. I cut down my meals by a large amount both by number and size. I tried to go ham on some chicken tenders, fries and tots yesterday night after a super long upperbody workout, couldn't even finish it :ld: if i keep this up i might be able to do this cutting thing you guys are always clamoring about :ehh:
I struggled to finish 10 wings last night :damn: I used to go through 20+ no problem

Been having some fun on the pull-up bar. Trying to do headbangers. Hard as hell. But prob cause I tried them after doing 16 perfect full range hollow pull-ups in a row

Cutting fries has helped me lose lately. My dad would make a frozen bag batch in the oven nearly every day and I would eat a decent portion with barbecue sauce, like about twenty or so fries. Now I just pick a few while waiting for my food to heat up and throw away the rest. I read an article earlier that fries lead to death. I'll go look for it

Go ahead and add french fries to the list of things that will kill you
