Hit the gym hard on Friday after almost three weeks off doing full body as I wanted to get the doms out of the way and I'm still :deadrose: on Sunday.

I'm gonna be lookin so good at 205 boaaa :wow: morning weight is 218.8 now. I'm never venturing over 215 again. I wanted so badly to be one of those 5'11" 225lb+ dudes with virtually no body fat but most are fake natties let's face it. In the back of my head I knew I was borderline chubby, but was so caught up in the numbers (the wrong ones). I was hurtin myself. Shoulda got my attention in college when girls I liked kept saying "why are you getting so big?"...if I went back as a lean, well dressed breh things would be so much better. I'm a cool well-liked breh so nobody wanted to tell me the truth I guess :mjcry:
You know ive been trying tell you this for years too.

Anybody here do deadmill sprints? It's when you turn the treadmill off and move the belt just by running your ass off.

EDIT: there are manual treadmills (meaning non-electric) that you can get, they are cheaper and take up far less room than typical treadmills.

Im kinda salty your cruising weight is going to be 205.... Im prob gonna have to get down to 170 to get rite and I'm only 2" shorter than you :why:

But all that chasing numbers shyt is bullshyt. Chase the physique negus, the number on the scale is just a tool to get there.

Good man *knock on wood*

Both shoulders post surgery and my back since the DL incident have been money. I'm a lot more careful/aware now of my body and when I'm doing too much. Been on a great run the last 2 months or so.

How you been?
That's great hear you're back to being active, and pain isn't setting you back.

I'm good, I finally got the ball rolling again at a new gym(24H). Gains are coming. Life is good...

58:27 total time. I was able to partition the middle section into 5 pull ups/10 push ups/15 air squats x 20. First mile I prob ran a little too fast just over 8 min. Got thru the first 12 cycles in the middle and then I hit a bit of a wall. Eventually pushed through. The last mile was sluggish as shyt. Just under 10. I'm glad I did it though. I know what to expect next time now.

People in vests blew by me though. Men and women. Reminds me of where I truly am on the fitness spectrum :wow:
