Chilling here going thru my mail and I get a letter from the gym talking bout they raising my base membership rate by $1.65. :gucci: what the fukk is wrong with them? Might have to take my talents elsewhere if it gets too expensive. :francis:

My gym literally charged everyone $20 out of nowhere last year then used the bread to expand the top floor weight room to about 3x the size.

People was heated at first but then when we saw the expansion area everyone was like :ohhh:

Yeah maybe they're doing something with this new money. They did build some new machines like the multi use machines are all new plus another machine with like monkey bars and squat racks, I haven't messed with that area. The cardio machines also got upgraded with usb ports and a few have tablets on them to select workouts instead of the old fashion way. Right now the monthly fee is 35.04 plus whatever the increase was, just gotta go there as much as possible to make the monthly fee worth it.

Ok I see. Let me stick to the 40s and 45s then.
I think it's form and it's effort.
For me, mainly effort. I'm slowly seeing more improvement now - in part because I realized I was being lazy. And what I mean by that is...I'd do the 10 or 12 reps on a set and move on. And the reality is I wasn't pushing it.
Can't just do 10 reps like it's some magic number. It's a little bit of bullshyt in a way. I would get to 10 reps but I could realistically pumped out 15 or more. So fukk it, I started doing reps until failure and then I'd increase the weight accordingly.

There's other guys here who can give you better advice than I ever could. That's just a reality check that hit me.
But you'll get past those 40s in no time breh.

Welp, I'm still a weakling but I managed 8 reps with 85 lb dumbbell bench presses on my 6th set today
Baby steps.

A lot of people at my gym don't come close to that, myself included. At the end of the day it's only a competition with yourself.

Found a tape measure laying around and decided to check my stats for the fun of it. Looks like I'm evenly proportioned for the most part. Not too heavy on top or bottom.

Chest: 37
Arms: 15
Waist: 34
Quads: 22
Calves: 15

Want to try and maintain those numbers while losing weight so I gotta lose fat in my stomach more than other areas. I doubt I'll gain more muscle since you have to eat a certain number of calories to gain muscle and I doubt I reach that number.
