These deadlifts might've saved my life, especially the ones on Friday. Either that or the fat on my lower back. Was helping my friend and his peoples move on Saturday and your boy done fell off the uhaul truck.
We were trying to slide a couch down the ramp instead of using one of the dollys. I'm on the step portion of the truck. All of a sudden I miscalculated my step and my ass is on the ground up against the side of the garage door frame. Luckily I didn't hit my head and just got a minor scrape on my right arm. They gave me some ibuprofen, drank some Powerade, and I was back at it moving them boxes of the truck. Was a long day too, nearly 12 hours. But their uncoordinated planning is a story for another day. Luckily I didn't do any damage to my back and was in no pain the next day. Either the hit was minimal or working out my back done saved my life.
Had to take the day off today since I knew I was gonna be short staffed at work and my hamstring was still sore from the moving day. Gonna go tomorrow for leg day and knock out these squats and a bit of that death march. Maybe go with lighter weights this time like 20s or 15s since it's leg day so I'm not trying to be unable to walk at work later.
I do need to do some cardio and burn some fat. I feel like I shouldn't be allowed to eat after breakfast. Lately I been doing better at breakfast and avoiding the microwaveable breakfast sandwiches I used to fukk with. Lately I been eating a three egg, gonna switch it to two egg, omelette with some cheese and torn up pieces of ham, nitrates free, mixed in for flavor. Along with two slices of 100% whole wheat toast with butter, which I put pieces of omelette on top for like a mini breakfast pizza
. A cup of coffee-with milk and now splenda since that's better than sugar and a fiber one bar, which is only 90 calories so that I can burn quick. And usually 2 or 3 slices of center cut bacon if I currently have any, which I don't at the moment. Plus I almost always go to the gym bout long after breakfast on days I do go so the protein helps and the fat burns off not long after. The problem is after breakfast. Ate McDonald's like twice this weekend, Wendy's, candy at work, the Starbucks frappe I had to give me some energy, too much junk. Luckily I drink mostly water unless it's an alcoholic beverage which isn't too often. Just ate half a Publix chicken tender sub earlier tonight and may devour the other half in like an hour or so. I'm the type to eat ice cream at like four in the morning lately.
Granted my time is different than most people since this is like my 6pm right now, but still. I gotta cut down on some of the junk in order to be healthier. Not just for weight purposes but health ones too.
Feel like I burnt fifty calories just typing.
