A few things today...

First, I must admit that I need to switch deodorants. Was doing shoulders and I was the smelly guy at the gym today.

And second, I don't want to just post rants but here's what I saw this afternoon:

A Mexican dude took two 45lbs dumbbells and stood them upright. He got on top of them...took a 65lb barbell and proceeded to do deadlifts.

Then, he did a sort of combo deadlift and snatch/clean.
Then he did a combo deadlift and front shoulder raise.

I swear on my mama.
This is the type of shyt I see all the time.

Oh...
And one of the gym trainers was with a client. The client was doing skull crushers. Like literally. With the bar coming down to his face. I was surprised the trainer didn't correct that form. But hey.

Happy Friday night brehs. :salute:

Is excess luggage at the gym necessary? Saw a guy earlier with a damn navy seal backpack. I don't know if he was carrying around rations and extra ar magazines but it seemed a bit too much for a trip to the gym. Looking like he was ready to go to war soon as Trump gave the signal.

It depends. Here is what is in my bag:

Belt
Knee sleeves
1 pair of sneakers
2 pairs of shorts
~3-5 t-shirts
Water for the day (2 quarts)
Lunch
Lifting straps
Tricep extension chain
Lunch
Towel
2 shaker bottles (intra-workout and whey shake)

shyt barely fits in my motorcycle bag. But I don't bring my bag into the gym, I leave it in the locker room. All my gym floor shyt would probably fit in a small backpack

HOW MUCH DOES ONE HAVE TO BULK to still look somewhat built when they cut? I've bulked up from 129lbs last year, to 166lbs on Friday. I'm 5'7. Work was so busy yesterday, I only had time to have a protein shake, and some McDonald's when I came home around 2:30AM. I lost about 7lbs(checked my weight this morning I was 159.4) and I look and feel smaller, and less bulky than I did on Friday. My idea was to bulk up to 165-170 than cut. But looking in the mirror, I always look and feel small once my weight falls below 160. Maybe I should bulk to 175 to be safe?

Mind you, I was 166lbs with a bmi of 26.15 on Friday.
