yeah.
that was maybe my first real intense workout.
I'm trying to focus on slimming my stomach and defining my waist as a first goal. I'll be honest, I'm just going on a whim here...still waiting on my free consultation to know what machines and exercises to use for those areas.

Been going to the gym since January, but until a week ago I was going twice a week on average. Pushing to go more now that I have car access and switched to a gym 10 minutes from home
Ab machines won't slim your stomache. Only thing that'll do that is losing body fat. No such thing as spot reduction. Easiest way to lose fat is with weights. Do some light squats or deadlifts getting help on your form from someone. Fat comes off fast with those two excercises

you need to do a lil more homework. go find a nice 3 day/week beginner weight training regimen, add 30 mins of cardio to that, eat right...that's the way your waist gets slim.

Weights, cardio, etc are nice assistants to weight loss, but they won't mean shyt without a locked in DIET.

All women should be mandate by law to deadlift 2x a week

Imagine the world we'd live in
:mjcry:
:whoa:

I don't think I could handle it breh

I got wifey squatting/deadlifting 3x/week right meow :demonic:

And yea @Regine Hunter you need to have a holistic approach. @dora_da_destroyer hit the nail on the head.... strength training is just one leg of the table; cardio is another one and IMO diet is the other two.

Strength training
Cardio
Diet
Sleep

I have made a complete overhaul diet wise. Cut juices to a minimum and soda completely out, following a meal plan that a coli member very graciously offered me, and going to the gym a lot more now. My issue now is just getting used to the machines at the gym and what routine/regimen will target the areas I want to see results in. Like now weight loss is the goal but I don't want an unrealistic number that I know I won't reach this year, so I'm taking a gradual approach in wanting to lose the weight in the torso area

You have to kill the notion of target areas for fat loss. You literally have no direct control to do that.

Machines have uses but if you can't consistently move your own body weight start there

Only machine that will target your stomach is plastic surgeon's vacuum

Fat loss happens across the whole body at the same time... there's no way to target fat loss in the gym. So just focus on losing weight in general, primarily through your diet and cardio.

And yea @The ADD sleep is key. Unfortunately I'm finding out that diet affects sleep too. Hunger pangs woke me up last night :damn:

that's my major issue right now. I barely sleep...or if I do I damn near go in hibernation.
Like today I fell asleep at quarter to 3 am and woke up at 7
