Heavier weights with less reps is for building strength.
More reps at a lighter weight (still should be heavy) for muscle building and/or fat loss.

how many reps were you doing per set?I started doing dead lifts. They always scared me but I did some light weight (135) just to get my form down. Tried them again last Saturday but had to do them at the end of my leg workout because the barbells were taken. I went up from 135, 155, 165, 185, to 205 but was so gassed I stopped after 2 reps on the last set. I get dizzy after each set and have to sit down. My body feels like shyt afterwards. I don't even want to leave the crib the next day.
Any tips?
