Had a pretty good, upper body session yesterday. Did 3 x 10 at 145 of incline bench. 3 x 10 of t bar row with 90 lbs added to the bar. Also did db overhead press for 3 x 10. Used 40 lbs dumbbells for 2 sets and i tested 45's for my last set and was able to 8, which was failure.

Also I'm starting to like only using heavy dumbbells for db rows, most of the other main lifts I prefer the barbell. Altho I don't have shrugs in my routine. Is this just me or does anyone else share the same thoughts?

I think distance running may be my shyt. There is "something" about running on the streets you normally drive. You notice way more, especially from a home buying perspective. You get a better feel of the neighborhood.

My abs haven't been this consistently sore ever. Adding this track/stadium work has to be a factor.

Been doing OK lately, pass my CCNA, got a new job, finances in order :ehh:

All that studying and grinding, excercise got left behind :francis: Stepped on that scale last Friday 230:huhldup:

This is now my sole focus :ufdup:

Cleaned up my diet last week dropped a few pounds, really tryna be in the gym full time tho, woke my ass up at 5 45 hit that weight room:smugfavre:

Cardio i dont really know what to do tho my boy told me to try HIIT which i did but what the actual fukk:dame:

Was ready to die :flabbynsick:gonna keep gping rest of the week and see how it goes

Im still skeptical on HIIT... that shyt aint for everybody

Deload life is real.... wifey been making big gains since early July, but last night she just bombed. Gonna see if Greg Knuckols is right.... just have her do some cardio and stretches. I never really fukked with deloads but if she does OK I will. She put 30lb on vertical leg press in 6 weeks :wow:
