All of these people deny. Doesn't make multiple accusations ok politically or socially for a sitting U.S. Senator.

Obviously, the right way for this to have played out was for the ethics committee investigation to finish but in this current climate, it wasn't going to happen. But if this was even a year or two ago this might have been settled behind closed doors.

We're in the middle of a huge culture shift and there's gonna be a couple of people who seem "unfairly" prosecuted but I don't think anybody will look back at what generally is a positive movement and think, "what about Al Franken though?"

That's not what I'm saying at all. Franken decided to end his own career based on pressure from his colleagues.

Private industries have decided that multiple or egregious accusations warrant termination or suspension. In public offices, the Democrats have decided something similar while Republicans aren't giving a fukk.

On the flip side to this women for generations used to have their own careers ended for even coming out with things like this. Yall are just going to have to die on this hill on this one.

Franken's going to be replaced with a Dem anyway, so politically if that's all that matters to yall then it will be alright.
