I don't "text first". that shyt don't exist in my world bruh. I text when i want to. if she don't reply or even text back late it doesn't matter because I don't want to talk to them anymore then. Especially if she text back late, I wont reply. I don't interact on her terms, I interact on mine.
As far as the whole text thing working for me, it's a lot better than you'd think. As long as you can do it without a ounce of tryhard in it results are positive. Depending on the quality of the text itself you even start getting back to back replies.

I didn't reply. not even gamey or charming, i just happened to jam to Mama's gun while gettin ready for work and told someone about it. Okay. I believe the main reason some dudes feel that way is because they (myself included) have approached women in a way that was considered "respectful". By that, I mean not pushing for sex in the early stages of interacting with women to whom they were attracted because they were taught that doing otherwise is not "respectful" to women since it indicates to them that guys is only interested in their bodies, not their minds. So, many guys behaved in accordance to this advice and got played every time while at the same time seeing numerous women chase after guys who, ironically, were only interested in their bodies, including the so-called "good girls". This obviously goes against women's claims that they want guys to approach and interact with them "respectfully" in general.

To add to my last post: So, it is understandable to a degree that some guys would be adverse to the idea of interacting with a woman with non-sexual intent at least in the beginning because as mentioned before, many dudes had this approach early on (based on how they were indoctrinated as children) and it proved to be counterproductive more often than not.
