Your story just goes to show that 10 times out of 10, your gut instinct is always right and you need to follow it no matter what. As soon as she mentioned anything about an ex in the picture and being all distant and weird, it should have been deaded there and then.

I don't know how old you are, but I'm assuming I'm a bit older, therefore when I'm ready to get back on the scene I will not waste any valuable on bullshyt no matter what the circumstances.

The good thing about being burnt is that you know the warning signs to look our for and act accordingly. shyt is like a cancerous tumor that has to be immediately cut out at the early stages or it's just gonna grow and fester and turn into something extremely painful.

Man I gave up all forms of alcohol about three weeks ago so I could go into serious cut mode before the summer. I can't say that I regret the decision at all. I feel amazing and I have so much extra cash now. I went out to a bar on Saturday with a few friends for a birthday celebration, and it was like I was in a different world. Being completely sober in a bar or club is an eye opening experience. I don't think I'll do that again unless I'm the DD. Mediocre women, and over priced drinks? No thanks.

That's the 3rd time she's asked me when we can meet. She told me a friend died so I told her that she still has her family and every new day we get is a chance to be better. Didn't really expect her to ask me out again.

I went to HS with this one so I cut her face out mostly just in case someone knows her and decides to rat. She keeps saying I'm interesting but I don't remember the last interesting thing I said I know the reason though I'm not oblivious just very apathetic

I have been pretty non-committal to all the women hitting on me lately. This woman at Sports Authority was trying to flirt with me and I just didn't feel like going through the motions even though she was cute. I didn't want another person texting me or calling me or sending me messages on facebook. It's kind of hard to explain...I was with my girl for 5 and a half years and I just kind of like the freedom now.

I'm not about to lower my standards especially when women flirt with me pretty regularly. But I am starting to feel like I'm waiting on a unicorn to come around. I feel like if I can't have exactly what it is I want then I'd rather be alone and just have "friends". Looking at the women my friends from HS ended up with or how women I used to have crushes on turned out just has me feeling like I'm not missing much.

I dated a 20 year old and since she couldn't go anywhere to drink all we could do is chill at the crib. Then she complained about being bored.

But brehs there is this late teens or early 20s girl going to my college and has late classes just like me(different classes though) and you know those type of women that you cant tell from demeanor, tone, way they walk,etc that they exhude femininity? I get this vibe from this girl.

In all honesty this is the first girl I've been intrigued by in that way. Every other one I'm just interested bin their looks.


By next week I will finally have a job and be able to feel like a man, but I'm lacking the confidence to step to this girl. I'm skinny as hell and only look and feel cool when I wear my leather jackets

The more you hesitate in situations like this, the easier it will be to do it in the future too, and you end up missing out on other good opportunities. I'm encouraging you to go after those dreams breh. It's only impossible is you don't try. God gave you the ability. You have everything you need already to make her a part of your team, if she's a woman of worth.

The thing is that these women always play the victim game. It's never their own fault that they are single. It's not the lying they've been doing, the rosters they've been trying to run, all the running around they've been doing or any of that. Just as long as you never take them too seriously, you'll be way better off.

YES! Every girl I've ever been with got the victim game on lock. It must be natural for them because it triggers the protector in us.

As for never taking them seriously... Bruh, everybody gives me shyt for my last gf but it was all good when she was playing her "power" games because I didn't give two fukks. We were dating and in my head I was like "Yeah sure, I'll open your door.. you gonna open them legs so whatever." But then I fukked up and got serious with her and started caring about her. That's when shyt went downhill for me. When I didn't care none of the petty shyt she did could rile me.

Ehh... I disagree. Depends on the context. I actually enjoy hearing about why a chick's last relationship didn't work out. It shows me if she can be introspective or not.

Bars/clubs are already miserable enough. Without alcohol they're unbearable. I went to Mardi Gras at 19 and didn't have a sip of alcohol. I had never been more ready to leave a place in my life. shyt felt like Sodom and Gomorrah.

Drinking isn't that special but it was my last resort to find something interesting for us to do. Ol' girl wasnt talkative and would complain about being bored if we just sat there and watched a movie. I'm like WTF else can we be doing? And this was after I took her out to dinner. Plus she stayed with her parents so it wasn't like we could ever go to her spot.
