I got too many thoughts on Dating Site Photos. I can't really speak on it from experience tbh though. I'm old school and focus on girls in the real world. I know I'm missing out though.
The internet photo element of the game is not something you can half ass. It's not something you can outsource.
You've got to learn how to do it yourself. It's not a "tips and tricks" type of thing.
Tips and tricks bs was
- Use a real DSLR camera and not your terrible camera phone
- Take shots during golden hour
- No more bathroom selfies
- If you're gonna go shirtless - be something to look at
- full body shots, no funny angles
- Pictures with animals in it
- Pictures with friends, some of whom are girls
These are all basics, and if you aren't doing these, you're not in the race.
That whole bare minimum mentality is over.
Why?
The deep rooted female behavior never changes, but the social media, dating sites, and
very private* smart phones have changed how women interact with the world. These hoes got complexes looking at other women and their lives.
So that's your real job - giving this broad a complex. She should have Fear of Missing Out, and she should be lightweight intimidated by you.
*Lotta females can really live out these double/secret lives because they can make contact with dudes that they would not normally come into contact with.
So you're going to need more than just 5 or 6 shots, because
she's going to want to see your IG/SC.
Everything needs to match up. (Real or Fake, that's up to you - but
chicks only understand consistency)
Guys need to start thinking of photography at the same level as getting swole/jacked.
I'm dead serious.
Good photos, good lives, good stories, etc - is something that you're going to have to produce on a REGULAR BASIS for an
unfair advantage. Cause you can keep doing the bare minimum and getting the bare minimum.
Lighting, F-Stops, Lens, angles, background, foreground, composition, color -> and then the editorial/narrative effect (what is this photo saying, what is this photo saying about ME) -> that has to bleed into your IG/Social Media and be consistent.
AND - if you really want to make things unfair - you need to be doing stories
daily. (And if you want to take it to that next next next level IG/FB/Social Media - advertising - which is hella cheap for what you're trying to do)
Just like being in shape, looking like a monster gives you an unfair advantage, really good photos and videos that generate interest will put you ahead of the strong/silent/boring guys.
Also....
You're no longer just competing with guys that are taller, stronger, richer, more stylish, cooler friends, cooler locations, richer things (that's Dan Bilzerian/Fresh and Fit style is played) -
you're competing with everything that she sees on her phone. You gotta engage that chicks mind like a TikTok video.
For a lot of you cats - needing to create content means you gotta do more than school/work/gym/meal time and the occasional club outing.
You gotta go to cool stuff, stuff that's cool on camera, learn how to capture it, and then constantly do it.
You get off the porch - if you want to really do some damage to these broads via online stuff.
