This long weekend both pleased me and pissed me off.

Firstly a chick I've been seeing casually for a few weeks pulled the "I'm not looking for a relationship" talk to me. She tells me she needs to concentrate on herself as she doesn't feel happy, concentrate on work etc. All the usual's. We walked her dog around my neighborhood then came back to pick up its carry case.

Said good luck, had a hug and showed her out of my place. No time for that fukkery. If she comes back round cool. If she doesn't, as great as she is to spend time with.



Nothing you can do. None of us are surprised anymore about how fickle these chicks are nowadays. Which is sadly why every man has to have multiple women around.

Literally 10 mins after she left, a chick I see on and off messaged me out of the blue. Asked if I wanted to come round to hers. I hadn't seen her for 2 months. And after the disappointment of the previous broad, I said yes. She cooked me up some pork buns and we rekindled our little thing, ended up sleeping at her place and chilling with her. Also matched with this chick on Saturday morning who has been flirty all weekend. Asked her out for a drink yesterday night and find out she's Persian.

Facts. I was dating a girl who I didn't see me being with long term so I ended things with her only for her to hit me up out of the blue weeks later which lead me to rethinking the situation and wanting to give her a second chance. She said she was going on a work trip but would hit me up when she got back which she did but only tell me she didn't feel like chilling that weekend cus the work trip had her feeling some type of way. I was like fukk it and decided to just cut her off only for her to hit me up again weeks later asking me to chill.

Once again I decided to give her a second chance and we wound up going on a date this past Thursday. I drove an hour in the rain and traffic, then took the the train into the city. We met up at this bar near her place where I listened to her complain nonstop for an hour about how much she hates her current job and how she has a meeting in the morning. So we leave the bar and she starts to walk me towards the train station where I tell her how I didn't come all this way through the rain and cold (not to mention it's been months since we last seen each other) just to meet up for a minute at a bar. So we end up at her place where she immediately decides to start making tea lol. We made out a little bit there but she didn't seem into it and was acting cold and distant as in not talking much and not wanting to be very physical. Then kind of upruptly she says I need to leave cus she forgot to get contact solution from the store and she also had to be up early. So I walk her to the store where we kiss some more, and she's smiling and thanking me for coming to see her.

I text her yesterday to see how the rest of her weekend went and she tells me how something was off and there wasn't a romantic connection. I really wanted to just be like yeah that's probably because you were being annoying the whole day by first wanting to cancel the date cus you had a headache, then complaining bout your stupid job the whole time, then complaining about the cold cus you don't know how to dress. But I just wished her the best and left it at that. Sorry for how long this is but I need to vent over how much time I wasted over this chick.

Yep, my options are good but shyt gets tiring, this chick ticked most of the boxes, but she's a strange one. And this year especially I now take anything a woman says in the moment not seriously.

Tbh I have appreciated the straightforward conversations me and her had. I think she's feeling the pressure of what she's doing with life. Everyone she knows are in pretty solid careers, and she's ambling around in her mid 30s despite being talented. I met her for lunch last week as she was in the area and brought her back to my work for a tour of the facilities and I know that had her feeling that she isn't really where she wants to be in regards to her craft.

That's her business though, I don't chase. You can help a chick, listen to her , care for her and still have her throw you in the trash once shes back on her feet.
