Whether you're a hater or a fan you'll never get a real genuine answer because neither side will be honest
But from my perspective as a fan who's somewhat objective he had an undeniable run that lasted longer than any other artist in the genre. You can say the numbers are cooked, you can say he had writers, you can say he lost against real spitters, badly, but you can't take away the fact that he's been one of it not the driving force of the genre for around a decade and a half. Plus a lot of the younger millennials/older Gen Zers had some of their best moments with him. Also the idea of him losing is incomprehensible because as you can see they have a cult like mindset(like Barbs) so they'll do whatever they can to make him look better.
I've seen grown men with families do the latter...like people that seem like normal people that fan out over this guy. But I finally get it; he's the guy that defined a good portion of their lives. None of them rules(ghostwriting, looking off a phone, being a hoe ass nikka in general) matter to them. Probably a sign of the times
