Why is someone you hate always on your mind ? You must have a crush or he fukked your wife

I don’t hate Drake I’m asking a question. I said I like the melodies and the beats but I’m wondering how nikkaz see him as a goat. I don’t understand why you gotta act like an emotional bytch to a simple question my guy.

I still think NWTS is a classic album. I don't know if he wrote the album, but it's amazing. Same as IYRTITL, but we know he ain't write that.
This… I’ve been in numerous threads saying I prefer Kendrick, but won’t lie that I don’t enjoy Drake’s music. I look at him the same way I look at a Diddy. He’s a great entertainer. NWTS and IYRTITL to me are classics in the ‘musical’ space. And both albums were moments in music that paused everything. Disingenuous to say it didn’t.

He’s a GOAT hip hop act/character. He’s been a gravitational center upon a lot of this last era of rap has orbited for the past decade plus. The music and hits and all that speaks for itself…but shyt extends all the way to cultural fringes around it…there are social media personalities that base their entire followings on being “Drake critics” on some Skip Bayless/Lebron shyt..:these content merchants like Joe Budden dead ass owe a chunk of their platforms being what they are because of Drake segments going viral…Look at this forum, this bastion of learned hip hop experts and connoisseurs …if we ran an AI prompt that was tasked with summing up “who is the main character of the booth since it’s inception”, what do you think the answer comes back as :jbhmm:…you muhfukkas are singularly obsessed with Drake…if an alien civilization somehow stumbled upon these servers a thousand years from now they might mistake Drake as some kinda malevolent yet omnipotent deity that consumed the daily thoughts of men…

even this year with the battle and the hoisting of Kendrick on the collective rap commentariat’s shoulders…like he’s Cody Rhodes “finishing his story”

It was really just about propping up some babyface to put over the comic book supervillain caricature Drake has been built up to be…Cody finishing his story and winning at Wrestlemania was really just another chapter in what really’s been the main event storyline the entire time, Roman’s….Drake is Roman Reigns :mjlol:…This Super Bowl performance is the biggest moment of Kendrick’s career, and most of the discourse around it is what it means to Drake…

Literally look at the first page of the booth right now, every other thread is about drake somehow…

If what you say is true do you believe Drake can have a number 1 song on the billboard charts again?

Unless he truly gets blackballed because of the lawsuit shyt, he could luck into a #1 with any random hyped song the way streaming works

This is a weird question because GOAT conversations have to start with commercial success when it comes to music, everything else is opinion. We talk about sports and the GOAT conversation has to start with championships and personal success. We see this all the time in music, the GOATs aren't necessarily the most talented. Drake by the numbers is at the top, whether that means GOAT, doesn't matter, but he is at the top, surpassing even a Jay-z for instance. No artist has a had a run in hip hop like Drake. Not even a fan but questioning why people say GOAT or legend with him is wild.

Since no Drake Stans are going to answer. I’ll let this be the answer.

Drake fans look up to him because he IS them. He is the nerd that “made it” and they live vicariously through him. They don’t want to admit that because by doing that then that means they have to admit that they themselves are fukking losers.

this whole thread perfectly illustrates that Drake fans does not live in reality at all. they can’t even answer a simple question without mentioning Kendrick Lamar and the fukking question doesn’t have anything to do with him. he’s been a manufactured ass rapper, but his dumbass fans think he’s “versatile”.
