How is he playing over KP? Noah at the 5, KP at the 4. I really don't understand why people are rushing to play KP at the 5. Let him cook at the 4, ala Dirk.

Successful basketball isn't played like that anymore. In order to compete at the highest level we need to play Melo at the 4.

Too much negativity going on with some of y'all. We get enough hate from other Stan groups scrutinizing every move we make and now some of you are joining in too?:patrice:

We've had 1 good season since I graduated high school. Thats probably longer than some of you have been Knicks fans. So if you can't see this shyt through then ride the fukk out:camby:

It's not worth it though. Say we are a playoff team, 1 of two things is gonna happen, We'll either have to cut Noah's minutes, making him an $18 million playing 18 minutes a game, or he's playing over KP. Both are bad looks.

Nah KP is gonna be the PF. We needed a C. KP and Noah on the floor together is actually a pretty exciting prospect. Both guys do well containing guards on the switch which means the general pick and roll attack that most teams have adopted as their focal point is something we can contain by and large. The issue is that Noah's gotta stay healthy. But the prospect of a defense anchored by a KP/Noah combination is pretty exciting if Noah is healthy and KP makes even nominal improvements. I'd seen someone post the splits from the Bulls when Noah was on the floor and off of it and even last season they showed a big defensive impact. The other thing is Noah is likely to be fading years 3 and 4 which sucks, but hopefully by that point KP and Willy will be ready for major reps.

Yea...

I'm grumpy now... but we weren't getting too agents...

Lakers signed Mozgov at a ridiculous clip...

These are my Knicks... I'm going to be their biggest advocate come 2017 offseason.

Not really directed at you breh. I should've addressed Mantle, we all Knicks fam tho so no disrespect at anyone, just saying...

Personally I don't like the idea of Gordon but JH seem like he gets magic out of undersized guards so if they pull the trigger there I'll be a little :francis:

building through free agency has also produced the big three in miami, the Boston big 3, the Dallas team that won it all, and the Cavs team that just won. I got Several more examples if you need them

Lebron was drafted by Cleveland and would not have come back had that not been the case, but sure I'll give you that for arguments sake. When you look at the 18 NBA champions in the post-Jordan era you have the 3 Miami teams, the Pistons, the Boston Celtics, Mavs and Cavs. The other champions were built through the draft. The idea that building through the draft likely leads to the 76ers current situation is stupid, as the Knicks are more at risk of their ceiling being the treadmill Hawks even under the best circumstances if they stick with the anti-draft/youth mindset.

wonder if it's a Hornacek thing too because they wanted Gordon in PHO years ago, but New Orleans matched the offer.
