I was looking forward to today.

Rumors of Phil's desire to build the All-Suit and Tie team have to be greatly exaggerated. I'm ALL for Noah, but get all the fukk away outta here with that Gordon rumor.

We need a defensive minded SG like Courtney Lee..not gordan

Have to wonder if this is Phil or hornacek
Yeah I'm wondering what going on with Courtney Lee. The team needs someone who can stay on the court and defend, but I'm holding out hope that Gordon will be inexpensive if he signs.

Phils got the wool pulled over some of your guys eyes. Hes trying to parade around this idea of getting this team to the playoffs like its some huge accomplishment. 8 teams make the playoffs who gives a fukk big deal. I want to see this team build to championship level you know what it would take for this team to win a championship the way Phil is currently building it? Rose to return to MVP level/Melo to be over his knee problems completely/Noah to be over his injuries completely/Porzingis to make some more strides in his developments. The chance of all 4 of those happening is very unlikely.

Word is the Knicks are looking at Austin Rivers to play SG

:mjlol:

Phil really gonna tie up all this cap space on Noah and Rivers?

:damn: At that batum deal and clarkson gone too.

Who got next @storyteller?

These FA deals are crazier than I though fam. I wasn't pissed about Noah's 18 mil after seeing it equates to RoLo last year, but I wasn't happy either...then I saw Mozgov get 16.5 per and decided I wasn't gonna complain. And even fringe max players are looking at MONSTER deals. This ain't the FA period to chase bargains apparently.

I HATE the idea of Eric Gordon unless he's coming cheap enough that we can grab a really good back-up PG or Wing. I wouldn't be too upset at Gordon/Moore or Gordon/Solomon Hill over Courtney Lee even though I'd really need to think about which of those two options I prefer. Edit: Just saw some heads on realgm say Lee wants 15 million per and he'll probably find someone to give him that in this craziness...but I'd be happy it wasn't us.

Knicks are the only team with entire overall...

I'm still interested in how this will work out but...

If there are massive injuries... Phil will look terrible.

He'll get buried, but we'll at least come away with a lottery pick in a strong draft. I'm wondering if that's Phil's mindset, that he can swing hard on these cats and shift to a tank if it looks like a strikeout.

Rose trade now becomes terrible. I knew when they got him they would throw caution to the wind and try to build a half ass contender now which really doesn't have a shot.

I agree. I literally said, only way I like this trade is if the move was to transition KP to the 5. Wasting 60% of our cap to replace Robin is a dumb move. Especially when it's been proven that the teams with great wing play succeed. I'm still not believing anything I read until it's official though.

And the whole "this is the new reality" argument is weak cause we all saw this coming. That's why the Robin Lopez signing was so brilliant last year. We should have found a way to keep him and still sign Rose is this is the case.

There was absolutely no compromise with Noah at all...

If he wanted to retire a Knick, considering his health, he should have agreed to less money.

If he wanted the money...he should have agreed to less years.

I'm still happy that we traded for a 1 year rental of Rose, though.

Noah's Job Is To Get The Best Offer He Can, Can't Blame The Players

With The Way Things Are Going On The Market I Can See Why The Knicks Rushed This Deal
