We shouldn't have traded Shump... especially for nothing. His numbers aren't great but he has an impact on the game that is beyond numbers... which is why he is a contributor on best team in the East.

"If Johnny Bravo hittin the Monkey, everybody hittin the Monkey, straight up..." :mjcry:

He takes 10M a year and plays 10-15mpg. Disappeared in the finals

Earl Smith is playing well for them but is going to be ghost in the finals again

Again man...another example of this corny dude getting WAY more attention than he deserves. This dude has done nothing in the NBA, but is treated like he's one of those consistent contributors that aren't exactly all-stars.......not even close. Dude is trash, and will never get his offense to the level it needs to be, and his IQ won't allow him to be the defender he should've been.

:pachaha: @ keeping the same team of weak dudes around "for 5 years to just win". HOW, SWAY?? You got outplayed by Pablo Prigioni on a nightly basis. Should've traded you for that OKC 1st rounder when we had the chance.

I think Jennings is good and still youngish.

Been in the league 8 years, coming off a major knee surgery, shooting 36% from the floor.

No thanks.

Thanks for Hardaway knickas. Amazing what a little coaching can do

Yeah, I notice you come in here every time he has a decent game to make a shytty post like this.

I also notice you're only coming in once every two months.

:mjlol: Dude is a dumpster.

Yup only 27 I think and is solid for 18 and 7 a night.

Would be our best option, nikkas like Westbrook and Durant not coming here so a nikka like brandon is a good look.

You clearly have not watched Brandon Jennings in some time. :shaq2:

I'm not hating on Melo breh. Dude is elite, but the knicks situation has been fukked for a while and Phil is the first GM in a while not kicking the can down the road to the next guy. As nice as Carmelo is going all in to build around a guy who is a season off of knee surgery and still is talking the olympics is typical knicks shyt

:scust:

Carmelo is 32, the Knicks still owe a pick to another team, and about 80% of the league is going to have decent cap money this year. The only hope this team had was to do decently enough this season to at least be in the playoff race to go to not have to overpay a player to make them more complete and continue to build. That didn't happen though
:francis:

As soon as Melo got injured that shyt went out the door, exposed Fisher for basically surviving off of Melo, and ended their hopes of not having to overpay.

:jbhmm:

I mean shyt Phil had to come out and say "we're not going to overpay any PG's":stopitslime:

because Melo went out there and said "I want Rondo":comeon:

Q&A with Knicks' Carmelo Anthony: 'I got to find something I can be comfortable with'

Also I read this whole article and yeah Melo sounds like he is 100% on either get a star for me next FA or I am out. That's going to help the knicks how?

:aicmon:
This is that typical CAA shyt:pacspit:

Right now the best option the knicks have is to try and still a RFA (H. Barnes, Bazemore), get a stopgap PG, and push the real PG chase to 2017.
I think Melo feels like PHIL is half assing the job and just taking the money
Many of the fans feel the same
Phil can opt out next year
Dolan has a opt out too
Melo can leave any time he wants

Something's gotta give, I can't blame melo for putting a lil pressure on management to do something. We going into year 3 and no better off then we were in year 1. Team got no direction, no cap space, no coach, no nothing lol

Lakers pulled the same stunt on Kobe. Promising him quality players and then sticking him with smush Parker and kwane brown. And yes Kobe is way above melo but that's not the point. team should be way better than IT is
