Not really, he wasn't available for us to pick. However the other 6 teams that passed on him

Word look at the wolves for example Flynn ain't even in the league anymore and was scrub status from day 1. If anything it shows how good the Knicks scouting can be. The next time they were that high they got KP......
:ohhh:
But too many people want that quick fix :francis:

I hope Melo never joins another Rambis huddle. Nice chess move, Melo. Show no love to this bootleg coach that way Dolan will never sign off on hiring him full time. Also props to Melo for saying FOH to that 'maybe next year Phil can just coach home games' shyt. I'm tired of PJax. Either do the job they paid you to do or :camby: Tryna coach thru puppet yes men now it's well maybe just home games?? :childplease:

Half as many wins in a weaker conference?

Tough year. :scusthov:
Why did you quote me? Instructions were clear. We have a 55% chance of keeping our pick. Lol @ sucking for another team because of Bargnani. Too many Ls for that bum ass franchise. :russ:

What did we learn last night?

. KP shouldn't rush back from illness or injury
. AA looks like a really solid candidate to be a 6th man off the bench
. Grant looks like he's figuring some things out
. Rambis has no business coaching this team next year, everyone knows it, Phil's comments were trying to keep Rambis' authority respected for the time being but it's obvious the team doesn't buy in to him
. Seraphin even when he plays well isn't a guy I want to see playing
. Calderon's defense is epic levels of bad. Amare pick and roll defense bad. Maybe Rambis should play dude 40 minutes a night to try and force him to retire?
. The Knicks transition defense is something no coach has worked on in like 5 years.

What I'm thinking...
. With such a limited set of options at PG, I think getting a quality SG might be a better way to go. We'll get more bang for our buck and if AA opts in he'll strengthen our bench. Just go with a cheap stop gap PG and swing hard either via trade options or next FA
. Galloway could age into a pretty good starter but he's got a few offseasons worth of work to get there
. Grant needs big minutes these last 13 games and I don't trust Rambis to do that
. Why D-Will only played 14 minutes is beyond me.
. Still want Thibs as the coach next year (then Augustin could be the stop gap, that combo is proven to work)
. I also still like Noah for the right price as a locker room presence and leader, this unit could use it.

I like Jennings and Bazemore. If Westbrook is a thing in '17, we can find a team to give Jennings away to...

Why do people STILL think like this, after all of the times that it has failed our franchise?

I like Bazemore. I'd throw a deal at him, but I'm not interested in giving jennings any kind of money or years

Q: Why do you still have hope it can work in New York?
Anthony: “I got hope in myself. I do have to believe in the process. I don’t want to say this was all part of the plan coming back [to New York]. This is a big, big summer.”

Q: What would you like to see happen this summer? What do the Knicks need to do?

Anthony: “I don’t really want to say exactly. But I think we need something we can put together that is going to be there over the next couple of years. Now it’s time to start competing for a championship, not just competing for the playoffs. Those days for me are over with.”
...
Q: How much power do you have with [your] no-trade clause?

Anthony: “I guess I have all the power. If I really wanted to get out of this situation I could have waived that no-trade clause. But I’ve stuck with it and I’m still sticking with it. I don’t know, maybe my loyalty has come back to bite me in the ass. As of right now, I am sticking to it.”
Q: What is keeping you loyal to the Knicks?
Anthony: “I wanted to be here. This is a place I wanted to be. This is a place where I envisioned myself, winning in New York.”

We Going on year 3. Someone's gotta pressure PHIL to do his Job. Melo like :yeshrug:
