I think Melo feels like PHIL is half assing the job and just taking the money
Many of the fans feel the same
Phil can opt out next year
Dolan has a opt out too
Melo can leave any time he wants

Something's gotta give, I can't blame melo for putting a lil pressure on management to do something. We going into year 3 and no better off then we were in year 1. Team got no direction, no cap space, no coach, no nothing lol

Lakers pulled the same stunt on Kobe. Promising him quality players and then sticking him with smush Parker and kwane brown. And yes Kobe is way above melo but that's not the point. team should be way better than IT is

Melo and Phil have both mastered the art of fake hustle. They're perfect for each other.

Again man...another example of this corny dude getting WAY more attention than he deserves. This dude has done nothing in the NBA, but is treated like he's one of those consistent contributors that aren't exactly all-stars.......not even close. Dude is trash, and will never get his offense to the level it needs to be, and his IQ won't allow him to be the defender he should've been.

:pachaha: @ keeping the same team of weak dudes around "for 5 years to just win". HOW, SWAY?? You got outplayed by Pablo Prigioni on a nightly basis. Should've traded you for that OKC 1st rounder when we had the chance.
Why y'all stay bringing up Pablo:to:
why are all these non knicks fans giving their opinions :scust:
I was just about to @Ironman to bring out the gif

Melo for Blake

Then go after MCW; Offer Lopez and take Monroe (flip him in a 3 team deal)

Hire Thibs

Put all your eggs in signing Westbrook the following off season

Melo for Blake

Doesn't really solve anything. Plus takes away a shooter.

Then go after MCW;

Why?

Offer Lopez and take Monroe (flip him in a 3 team deal)

Why again?

Hire Thibs

This is a goo didea.

Put all your eggs in signing Westbrook the following off season

This should be the plan regardless, and without any of your other crappy moves.

@I.V

Kristaps is a stretch 5, Blake Griffin is the best PF in Basketball. I think their games will complement each other. Knicks have too many bigs and Lopez is the only trade bait they have (Unless a team would want Jerian)

You need an Athletic Point Guard, MCW is still on his rookie deal, he doesn't have a future in Milwaukee.

If you want Westbrook then you need cap space to offer him the 30M that he's going command. Shedding Melo and Lopez contracts is the best way to do that.
