Push ups are more beneficial than bench press. Change my mind

nikkas only prefer bench press cuz it's easier but they're gonna fake and say push ups have a limit

I do 100 diamond push ups in total while I bench. I start the sets while I’m resting from a beach set Usually by the time I’m done benching I knocked out 70-80. I finish the rest out. This is only when I’m doing pause benching at 185lbs though. Any heavier weights I hold the push ups off until the end and only aim to knock down 50-60.

I don't bench I do curls and push ups. I just personally think push ups make your body look better. The only reason I do curls is for my biceps

what are you basing this on? You haven’t done bench press so how would you know :russ:

why you think bodybuilders do bench press over pushups

Why waste time doing curls when you can just do them while resting other muscles groups? why not lat pull downs and reverse grip barbell rows to work on both your back and biceps?

Depends on your fitness level and goals imo.

I’m strong and fit. Pushups are easy.

That said I do pushups as part of warmup most days and after a chest day to burn out.

You can do incline, flat and decline bench

When you get strong on the bench push ups feel like a waste of energy in comparison

I do superset push ups with bodyweight dips, so they are not a waste. But the bench is more efficient at building your chest than pushups.
These idiots never heard of progressive overload.

Even tho this is TLR and OP is a troll, but he's not wrong. You have to change the variation with pushups but they work just as well.:manny:
