Definitely. I swear by free weights, but I don’t begrudge or talk shyt about anyone who’s trying to get in shape. There are many paths to a good chest.

Definitely..

Im at home in the garage doing reps with old cement weights.. dumbells and a pull up bar..

Still maintaining my cuts..

I definitely prefer the way pushups make my body look compared to benching. It leaves a more attractive physique. Also, pushups work your cardio more than benching.

Why people saying you can't progressively overload with push-ups?? Just over this last month, I went from doing pure bodyweight push ups, then threw a 30Ibs ruck on my back, started doing PUs with that, then went up to 40Ibs ruck this past week. Plan on moving up to 50 in the next week or so.

It takes more work for sure, but it's doable. Just get a vest or ruck/backpack and up the weight as the previous set/weight combo becomes easier. If you got a park near you, anything like a tennis court or bball court with a gate, what I do is 10x pushups every poll along the gate. So the length of my park gate is ten poles w maybe 5ft of space in between. I knock out ten, walk to the next Pole, knock out ten, etc. Till I get to the other end. No breaks. The walk in between is where you catch the breath. Then I turn around and do it the other way. I will do that w my max ruck weight, then do drop sets. So going back and forth again, but drop 10Ibs, etc. Next week, increase your max weight.

If you don't have a park with a gate, parking lot markers work too. I get up early in the morning, so no parked cars. Just count ten markers, do the same thing.
While that may work for a few months - eventually you can't add that much weight to your back and it is absolutely horrible for your posture so you risk injury by even trying to put it on

there’s only so much progressive overloading you can do in a short time. My chest workout is about an hour long and I jump from 135 pounds to 350 pounds during my workout. It would take 100s of push-up reps to get the equivalent of that.

nikkas only prefer bench press cuz it's easier but they're gonna fake and say push ups have a limit

What’s your max on the bench?

a proper bench, bringing the weight down to your chest under control and bringing it back up without crazy momentum/throwing your back out of place

you don’t look like a guy who can bench very much (no disrespect) so that may be why you prefer pushups

I don't bench I do curls and push ups. I just personally think push ups make your body look better. The only reason I do curls is for my biceps
