Yep, Bottom 5 JimmyTrey is 6'4" and 230, Purdy look 6'0" and 200 tops and Trey's faster. Designed runs were a major part of Trey's game in college. Not to mention Purdy got no viable backup. Not a realistic comparison
Kyle's offense gives the QB more layups than anyone else. Jimmy consistently bottom 5 in air yards per pass but top 5 in yards per attempt. Against Chicago over half Trey's runs came on pass calls. They tried giving him easy quick looks but Chicago did a good job taking those away
Far as Jimmy he been in the league 9 years. 6 in this system. That play he got hurt on they showed the all out blitz. He gotta call timeout or know he gotta hit the hot read right away. That shyt was not disguised
Far as Purdy, most the plays he getting hyped for he either standing in and delivering throws downfield in the face of a pass rush or eluding the rush and making something happen. Basically what fans been begging Jimmy to do. Mostly it ain't due to safe play calls which Jimmy get plenty of himself
Even if we won the Super Bowl they would probably want Kyle fired, trade Brock, and want Trey to start. And all this is in the middle of a 6 game winning streak with a chance to win the division tomorrow

Yea the part missing from that stat is “during that comparison time, Trey also had 189 rushing yards and a rushing TD”
So it’s clear they are being used totally different. But that says to me that Trey has an arsenal that Brock doesn’t have, rushing the ball.
So the passing stats are similar, while Purdy did it in less time. But the rushing stats are astronomically in Trey’s favor.
I just want to see more from Purdy. I def don’t wish bad on him. I need him to win this SB and prove me wrong. But today, I’m not willing to give him that. Today

why are some fans so heated... bruh.. we got two young QB's that seem to have at least starter potential.. shouldn't we be happy?
I think we all antsy about this playoff run. I don’t disagree with anything. I just have my money on a different guy. shyt, we had three this season, there’s no wonder why the fandom is split. Hell some people still want Jimmy backTrey has shown that he is an indecisive runner though. Kyle use of him in that aspect has been dangerous and that is why he is injured. In college he was running the ball against linebackers and d-ends smaller than him, that isn’t the case in the nfl and wouldn’t have been the case if he played at a power five school.
Brock looks more fluid and more comfortable in the pocket and that has a lot to do with his experience playing in the Big 12. I want Lance to succeed but for that to happen Lance needs experience and that requires him to stay on the field but if he gets injured and the way Kyle uses him he will than he won’t. So he doesn’t really have another arsenal or at the very least it is a double edged sword

At the end of the day, I’m just going to wish our team success and see what shakes out. I don’t want no bad juju on anybody on this team. It’s been too damn long since 94
"If you have two qb's you have none"
ExactlyThat's retarded. That's when both QBs are ehhhh. We had young and montana.
This isnt about me saying purdy is better, once againYea the part missing from that stat is “during that comparison time, Trey also had 189 rushing yards and a rushing TD”
