This isnt about me saying purdy is better, once again

This is an indictment on kyle

the shyt brock is doing, Trey is supposed to learn via Kyle because he has less experience. Kyle picked a development project that he so far hasnt really developed yet

I mean, take a look at how Lynch is gushing over Purdy right now :

"
"I think that he's a very quick processor," Lynch told Matt Maiocco. "He can handle a ton of information. [He has] the work ethic to make sure that he's buttoned up, and he's going to have the answers. He knew where to go with the ball. But then, you start to watch him, he's got some guile that comes with [more experience], manipulating linebackers to open up windows, and he started doing that right away.

"I think the thing that first impressed me, with [head coach] Kyle [Shanahan], within this league, No. 3 quarterbacks—that's what he was at the time—they don't get a lot of reps. But he really made those reps count. And so it's pretty bold to go in there, try to move [LB] Fred Warner with your eyes or body."

Well, shyt. Shouldn't Kyle be teaching Lance the same stuff ? Why is Fred Warner telling Lance to not be afraid to make mistakes in practice and let it rip, and not Kyle ?

Kyle is a dude who decided to have a baby with his wife but refuses to do anything about his development and instead latching on to the neighbor orphan who is like 4 and a half because he is already potty trained and knows how to speak, read and so on.

I think what the Trey/Brock situations show is how starting experience matters. Brock started 4 years at a Power 5 school compared to Trey’s 1 year starting a lower level FCS school. Trey’s got the higher ceiling but Brock looks like he’s got the higher floor. At least so far in their careers

But here’s my question. Why are some of y’all more focused on what Kyle isn’t doing with Trey (because he’s hurt) instead of what he’s doing with Brock now? Don’t some of y’all think it’s a huge plus that Kyle’s beating playoff level teams in December with a 3rd string rookie QB? :jbhmm:
Not too many coaches got that in the bag :manny:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
That's retarded. That's when both QBs are ehhhh. We had young and montana.
And you seen what happened to Montana... And how he felt about it the entire time until they had to get him out of there.. The NFL never keeps two good qbs because it splits the locker room. One group is going to want one guy and the other will want the second... And are you really putting in 150% with the guy you don't even believe in?

It's not like we didn't try.. Jimmy wasn't supposed to be good last year, or healthy, and that's why we got Lance. We were done with him. He wasn't supposed to be here this year but nobody wanted him. If Brock wins out, or even wins half his games, we'll go into next offseason with the same ass problem. Who should start, who's better, and when he starts playing bad, how fast do you yank him?

Nobody wants their qb playing under those conditions
