No. Get a capture card if you want that(record 1080P/60fps)
http://tinyurl.com/hezdnpd

You can stream to youtube in 1080P/60fps and then just save the archive on YT.
The reg PS4 streaming is capped at 720/30fps right? If so then the pro is 1080P/60fps for streaming to YT/Twitch.
I have a Capture Card that will be with my OG PS4 in my office. The Pro is going to replace my OG in the Mancave tho, so I was curious

Also, capture cards don't record all of the audio (chat for example). You have to go through hoops to get the in-game audio with them. It's honestly pretty ridiculous. You need a mix amp if you want to do it with wireless headphones.

Its cool. As long as the Pro gets better upload speeds I shouldn't have a problem streaming and saving it from Twitch

Gamestop might do a trade in bonus for $200(From $150) next week. I know they did one for the Xbox One S. Right now it's only $150. I'd rather just deal with that and get the pro for $160(Got a $40 coupon waiting)

So this is an idea of what TF2 would look like on your 1080P TV. The supersampling.

Just eyeballing it the PS4 Pro shot looks much clearer.

For much of the game, PS4 resolves at around 1000p, and Xbox One around 810-828p. Gaining absolutely accurate metrics is difficult owing to the temporal super-sampling anti-aliasing, which makes it very difficult to find the hard geometric edges essential for pixel-counting.

However, the Titanfall 2 beta dropped frames hard on both systems, so yes, resolution will drop below the beta's fixed framebuffer standard - we've seen PS4 drop to 720p in the most intense of scenes, while Xbox One will fare worse. We've yet to determine how low it drops - temporal reconstruction is really difficult to work with, but it can look bad. We've actually recorded edges that range from 480p upwards - however, Titanfall 2's post-process pipeline may be working with lower resolution alpha effects, reducing pixel count where transparencies intersect with geometric edges.
So on PS4 Pro it's probably at 1440P or higher.

I can get a 500GB PS4 Slim for Β£180 with Battlefield 1, or a PS4 Pro for Β£300 (hook up from a friend) i.e. the Slim is 60% of the price of the Pro.
Am I taking an L by buying the slim? I have a 32" 1080p TV with no interest in upgrading any time soon, my current space is suitable for 32" but I could push it to 40". However, I won't upgrade TV until I move house and can go 50"+, 4K and proper HDR (10bit).
I prefer games like Bloodborne/Dark Souls, Witcher 3 etc., none of which are getting a Pro patch. I've got my eyes on Nioh that will be optimised for the Pro. I understand that all future titles will have a Pro mode and tbh, the thought of Red Dead Redemption 2 down sampled to 1080p or in 4K is exciting.

Is the slim a bad deal at this point in the console generation?
The price of each isn't a problem, I'm just looking at it from a value for money perspective.
