BTW, I prefer a patriarchal society but not in its current form. Media has distorted the image of the black male, life imitates art way too often, and its time for that to change.

Colorism has nothing to do with attractiveness. Typical gaslighting.I've been saying this for the longest. This and colorism need to be addressed on mainstream because these bytches will burn down the planet if they don't get chose.![]()
I find all of this to be ridiculous tbh.
I work with a couple of wild, loud mouth, completely unprofessional chics and I'm still able to respect them first as black women, second as human beings.
Folk gone do what they want to in the end so lemme get out of this circle jerk of a thread.

Expand on your vision. What are your expectations of men and women?
Never had problems like these discussed in here. Be she’s us felt protected and aligned with black men and support them. Oh this must be yet another 20th thread this week where the bucks and wenches are fighting for their right to white again. The c00ns and c00nettes too busy fighting with each other than to focus on the war outside in front of them. Rinse, repeat. Let me also guess, a few posters threw in the words “colorism, misogynist, Twitter patriarch, nonblack, interracial, intersectional, toxic.. blah blah” Real original and inspiring, thought provoking shyt here *sarcasmYep. Her and @Nicole0416
Twitter birds and ugly women always are ugly by the anger they hold in. They never have this energy against CACs.
I think theres a very real discussion to be had about toxic masculinity, misogyny, and how in the YOoL 2020, Black Women are still very objectified by a European Standard of Beauty.
After a discussion with my girl, that last point is something that Ive realized as a man, i will never understand.
Lets keep it 100: Men are largely able to create value based off of their wit, intellect, wealth, success with physical attractiveness largely not mattering. Whereas even in modern times, post feminism, post women in the work place, the more attractive a woman (which is largely based on Euro standards), the more shes able to manuever through life.
Ive been a professional worker for about 10 years now, and id be a liar if i dont see it happen. So imagine being a woman where you notice every instance of being judged based on your looks (in addition to race, religion, etc).
WITH THAT SAID
I consider it one of the greatest victories of White Supremacy, that Black Women think this sort of plight is unique to Black Women.
Ive been raised around cacs most of my life (dad was an army vet). So lemme tell you, Cacs hate their women. DESPISE them.
Ive never seen a group of men be so emasculated by the slightest bit of individuality and independence. Especially if its sexual.
For fun insight, go to any barstool sports IG meme featuring a beautiful cac woman and the most liked post will 90% of the time be some white frat boy shytting on the chick in the post. I guarantee it.
It really is a grass aint always greener scenario. Due to the socioeconomic history of Black folks, YES, things like domestic violence probably does skew higher along with familial abandonment.
But on the other side of that? With Cacs and Arabs and Asians? They expect pure submission from their women. They beat their women, their women just dont report it. They dont want their women to work or have a presence in the household. They are FAR more judgmental of sexual history, out of wedlock children, and body types.
Whereas Black Men IMO and from my perspective, are much more open to individuality, independence, curves, women with kids and yes even body counts (despite what the coli perpetuates).
Things are far from perfect, but its *problematic* in my opinion to contextualize misogyny as JUST the moral failings of Black Men and not men in general.
So let me get this right, the same men they call bullet bags, are supposed to protect them?![]()
I enjoy and benefit from patriarchy. I have no problem with it.
At the time, just off the strength of racial pride, i expect our men to defend our women.
However, that becomes difficult when the very same women expecting protection shyt on bm everyday.
Our duty as bp trying to pull our communities back together after ther ravages of the 80s and 90 is to... come back together. We should all be on the humble (toward each other), in an effort to reconnect and rebuild strong families and communities.
Where your ppl from?
This has nothing to do with you. bytch ass cac.You fukkin guys are clowns

This is surprisingly hard to answer bc the benefits of patriarchy permeate all areas of life.
I rarely touch a door. Men rush to my defense. Cab drivers help with with my stuff. If i walk into a venue alone, I'm guaranteed several drinks and possibly a meal, with no expectation of recompense, because men. If it's a sketchy hood, men i don't know from Adam will protect me. Just the other day, habibi at the store was being friendly and a young breh was like, "you ain't slick, stop tryna flirt on the low.' I could go on and on...
It's like a superpower. Idky more women don't take advantage.
Just for reference, before anybody comes on here to tell me im downtrodden and unaware, I'm better educated than you and could probably take your job after drinks with your boss, no cap. Ive been offered excellent jobs I'm not even qualified for, again, because patriarchy.
I would tell him, but everytime i inform him on the goings on of shea butter Twitter, he says it himself.
