Charlotte is cool....tons of fine women. CIAA...night life is always popping....lot of good corporate companies....plenty of good educated women to choose from.....the city is up and coming with tons of growth potential....

Cons...it's the Bible Belt....no overnight liquor stores....white people pretty much own uptown....it's in a red state with biased government and tons of political under and oversights......

Don't know if I will be able to afford it. I have 60,000 in student loan debt currently and am unemployed. Have no car at the moment either. Have a two year degree in Business Management.

You're still young, and with 60K in debt and no jobs skills, you need a 5 year plan. I would forget worrying about which city has the best nightlife etc. I'd recommend joining the Coast Guard for 4 years, see some of the country, and get rid of the debt and at the same time try to work on finishing your degree. In a few years, you would eventually be transferred to DC anyway where most of the CG jobs are. So, years 1-4, live off the Govt, pay the debt off, get working on your 4 year degree, move to DC, and transition into a Fed Govt job at the end of 5 years with a degree and no debt.

pros
cheap real estate
great nightlife and something always going on
4hrs from la, san diego, phx
plenty of sunshine, mountains
very diverse
no state tax
24/7 city

cons
can get very hot in the summer 110-20 plus
not too many jobs outside of the casino/hotel industry
no culture
school system is horrible
not really a city to find a soulmate imo
transportation system isn't the best
alot of temptation in the city

I've been seriously considering Vegas because of its cheap rental properties. How's the police there? In NYC I can't walk to the store without plain clothed officers searching/harassing me. Are the police crazy there? Also how's crime? I don't want to be living in my $400-500/month apartment and have my PS4 stolen by unemployed losers.

Sounds like a good idea, thanks.

I lived there

Coming there from MI it also taught me that all white ppl are not well off and they get into shot just like us

I also met some cool White ppl too

Just sayin u will experience racism if u black
And the cops are crazy
Will ask for your ID while walking

i'm assuming you live there i was planning on moving between their and phoenix

between seattle vs phoenix which place has a better nightlife (one of my main qualms before i move to a city, i like to work with music)

I live in Seattle, but get down to Phoenix every few years. Wife, brother-in-law, and father-in-law all went to ASU. Phoenix itself is not that great of a city. Scottsdale has lots of nightlife as does Tempe where ASU is at. Weather is great until summertime when it gets too hot. Housing is affordable, but Arizona as a whole seems to be a little too racist/republican for me.

Seattle can be hit or miss depending what you want. It's expensive, but has one of the best job markets in the country. Lots of tech jobs here. Lots of outdoor activities nearby. Lakes, mountains, skiing/snowboarding, hiking, camping are all within an hour or 2 from downtown. Weather doesn't get too hot and we don't have humidity. We also never get snow in the city. It can get around 30 in the winter, but mostly stays in the 40's with grey clouds and rain. Nightlife is decent I'd say. I'm married with kids now so I can't really speak too much on it. If you are looking for culture and diversity the south part of Seattle between Seattle and Tacoma has the most color.

thanks, appreciate it. Do you personally feel the pros outweigh the cons?

@Willy Waffle I also want to now how the crime is there as well.

depends on where you live at?

Henderson which is outside vegas and like the burbs is one of the safest communities in the country. i live the paradise section closer to UNLV which imo is cool for me. there's alot of homeless people in the city all over. summerlin outside of vegas, just be the place for you, if your into the outdoors thats the place to be. downtown vegas is cool, very artsy and being redeveloped but at the same time you have your share of homeless people and casinos (drunks, gamblers) there. green valley/south vegas by the airport is another area which i like. you got your strip malls, alot of young professionals, and reasonable pricing for condos, and townhouses. it's close to the freeway as well.

the police out here aint shyt like the nypd and this is coming from someone who been to the 46th precinct on jerome ave in the bx. the last few years, the police have been the ones actually been the ones getting clapped up. 2 cops "ON DUTY" got killed at a pizza restaurant in broad daylight. A few months ago, a cop got hit up in broad daylight and the dude who did it never got caught. the gun law aint nothing like it is in NY. If you do move here, stay away from them weekly and monthly properties. those places are roach infested and straight up projects in disguise.

here a map of the neighborhoods for a better understanding

Las Vegas, NV Neighborhood Map - Best & Worst Neighborhoods

anywhere from bonaza rd to lake mead is probably the neighborhoods you want to stay away from. i know owens st and H st is home of the playboy bloods.
