I'd imagine they'll be very systematic about how they do it to avoid angering white people in say...Virginia, which runs on federal jobs. Instead it'll definitely target black people in DC, Virginia, etc.

Federal jobs are amazing for black people, or anyone really. Same with state jobs. Amazing benefits, high paying, room for advancement/promotion, and hiring is heavily influenced by referrals. I've seen plenty of dudes in the barbershop offer to get guys a job with the feds or state, and if you go to church you likely know someone who can get you in too. One of the best paths into the middle class for black people so of course republicans want to shytcan it and control those positions for white boys.

I always tell people...if you're struggling with low paying jobs...start applying for state jobs, or fed jobs if any are in your area. Postal service, security at a prison, case worker, benefits worker...whatever. If you can get in it'll change your life.
