The same sauce of s1-s2 would have been just fine with me but this felt a lil like "sona" when the show was already showing signs of

I wouldn't even attempt to pick this show up. Had so much promise but got ruined due to its success. Execs couldn't let it wrap up quickly, had to drag it out. Prison Break should've been a 2-3 season show tops.

season 1 - back story, introduction of characters and escape
season 2 - on the run, evil conspiracy unfolds, potential finale.
season 3 - more conspiracy, evil doers put down, vindication for all and walk off into sunset. The End.

Same thing is happening to the Supernatural series. The creator planned it for six seasons but the ratings were so good that the execs decided to continue. Every season after 6 has been shyt.
