DR
And @beanz jamaica's economy is like 10 times smaller than DR's

even if jamaica's economy was 100 times smaller, it doesnt have a country right next door that is so corrupt all its citizens flock to another corrupt country. no carribean nation can handle the number of haitian immigrants that DR has to. u cant expect them to just grant everybody citizenship for coli daps.

if this is such a welcoming and wonderful idea, why not just self deport. if i could i have this kind of reaction (:noah:) towards another country i would leave right now.

my life is here. i wont make as much money in DR as i do here and the education out there is relatively shytty so i have to stay here and work here to provide my daughter with a better education. im under no illusion about DR. i was only saying if i do get deported it wont be the end of the world, but this is where the getting is good so until they kick us out, we gonna keep getting that money outchea.

@beanz but but Haitians don't come to DR for work

@ariana martell Do Dominic00ns know what ex post facto means?

when did i say haitians dont go to DR for work?

2KODfWh.gif

Nah, we go hard on racist CACS as well.

not hard enough. gotta hit em where it really hurts, pockets.

You pillow bitting fakkits talking canceling your supposed vacation to DR please go to Haiti and help them out instead

:russ: "im gonna go to mexico instead they know how to treat brothas"

Itll be interesting to see whether this has any effect of tourism in DR:coffee:

it wont have any. our tourism relies mostly on europeans and euro-south americans who come splurge their cash and dont give a fukk about haitians anyway and on dominicanyorks who will always go back home to spend money no matter what. when cuba opens up tho we gonna take a hit like everybody else.

Hard to have legal documents if they won't issue you papers based on the color of your skin whether you were born there under legal status or not.

:duck: as always, for all the posts u make in higher learning, u have to be one stupid dude. i guess its better to be the dumbest poster in higher learning than the dumbest poster in TLR tho :obama:
@gonzo8402 is a lapdog for these clowns:mjlol:

every Haiti/DR thread same bullshyt this fool comes running in

of course the same tap dancing brigade here have similar posts when Haitians getting lynched and dragged through the streets

same bullshyt posts tryna excuse the corrupt Dominican govt once again:russ:
a truly hardheaded and confused group of people

nobody saying DR government isnt corrupt. damn right it is. every government in the world is corrupt. nobody excusing violence against haitians either. i swear on everything i would disown any family of mine who is on that abusive shyt with anybody, including haitians.

fukk racist dominicans too. im not cool with anybody who straight hates anybody else for any prejudices.

but it isnt a racist law for social cleansing comparable to nazi germany. coli posters love to be victims so much they exaggerate things to fit that narrative.

now if the dominican government decided to deport all people that couldnt pass a brown paper bag test, including dominicans, then i would cover my fukking tattoo. i wouldnt even tell ppl i was dominican anymore.

this isnt that. its a 3rd world country with corrupt politicians stealing every chance they can get who wants to cover their tracks by blaming it on the haitians and playing on the history of the 2 countries.

and yea corruption is the main issue, but 2 million undocumented haitians is also a problem. if we were a world power i would be happy with DR granting everybody citizenship and getting to work on helping the millions and millions of poor people in dr AND haiti, but WE STILL DRIVING DAIHATSUS OUT THERE B :bryan:.

act as if the dominican republic was a country with an efficiently functioning non-racist bureaucracy and a police force devoid of any form of corruption hermanettes.

you dumb fukk Haitians are not the only foreigners living in DR yet they don't have any problems providing their paperwork or going to their embassy and getting them.

all these fakkits do is complain...NEVER about that ACTION!!

You love Haitians so much DEMAND that the US give them amnesty so they can build their lives here in the good ol USA!!!

The US has been debating their own immigration policies for decades never coming to an agreement on what to do with the millions undocumented in this country and they are used as political pawns whenever elections come up. I can't even tell you how many times I've heard BLACK people in America agreeing with deporting illegals..

you all are hypocrites just like your oppressor

Yet, the DR have some balls to have a solution to their immigration issues and the coli bums are on their faux outrage again :heh:

:umad:as someone who has spend significant time in the dr as a non haitian foreigner i call :duck:
when i worked in the dr, my boss waited almost half a year for his car because custom wanted to get bribed before they released it. since we were there to help dominicans fight corruption :mjlol:he couldn't do that. what helped him in the end was having a neighbour who was a general and intervened on his part. if you don't have connections and no money to bribe people, more often than not you're fukked when it comes to paperwork. what is true though is that if you aren't a haitian, there are less obstacles, because you're not getting discriminated against. you're seen as a cashcow, so a couple of pesos will solve most problems.

apart from the obvious issue of racism, the worst thing about this is that this is a decision taken by the constitutional court. in order to become a constitutional court judge, you are supposed to be among the absolute top of the best educated lawyers in your country, yet these buffoons are not even capable of grasping the concept of legal certainty. applying laws ex post facto goes against the very essence of a constitutional democracy. and now, instead of firing these embarrassing clowns, dominicans scream that they are a sovereign nation and can do as they please. of course they can, it's just that nobody can take them serious as a modern nation state if they do shyt like this.

I refuse to call DR a legitimate country imo. Its not a legit country! :mjlol:

Just a place where foreign nikkas go just to fukk easy big booty hoes. :mjlol:

Their government, legislative and justice system is basura.

Damn, I didn't know that!

No wonder the majority of the world is a shythole, in thought. That rule has to be one of the dumbest shyt I ever heard. Especially considering this isn't the 1930's.

I'm so happy to be a black American. Reading shyt like this thread, makes me appreciate my ancestors more, and more. They really did sacrifice for us to have a much better life then they had.

I love my people:to:

Prior to 2010, DR offered birthright citizenship. That was amended in 2010. Which led to the stripping of citizenship in 2013. Which led us to where we are today.

I noticed a lot of folks are talking about this like it's an immigration issue.

If this was about deporting illegal immigrants, no one would've batted an eye.

It's the stripping of citizenship of Dominicans of Haitian descent as far back as 1929, who now have to sign up for foreigner status in their own country for a few years or face deportation, that caught everyone's attention.

If they were born Dominican their paperwork should be straight. They're not going to be getting deported. They can have their residency and re naturalize in 2 years.

being born in DR only makes u a citizen if documentation is filed. idk whats so difficult to understand about this. they arent deporting them if they have documentation. when my mother was born in DR in 1963, she didnt get her birth certificate or paperwork in order for years. when my father married her and tried to bring her to the states with him, she had trouble. even though she was dominican born to dominican parents who were born to dominican parents.
